This restaurant is the first good restaurant in East Palatka as you arrive on Florida 207 from Interstate 95 and I’m glad I chose to eat here. My server was Caelyn, or something like that, and she was very pleasant. She pointed out that meatloaf is a popular choice every day but I also saw on a newly installed indoor billboard that Mondays and meatloaf are a fan favorite. I enjoyed the homemade taste and the real mashed potatoes (something rare in some restaurants I’ve been in before). I chose to wash it down with ice water, and the water tasted fine compared with the water I get in Jacksonville. I couldn’t complain about the value ($12.99+tax). Unlike some restaurants I’ve been in that had really small bathrooms, the men’s restroom was clean and spacious. I was impressed with the televisions showing the various specials through the week. I definitely want to return and enjoy the breakfast and other meals, especially the fried chicken and prime rib!

207 Diner was great when they first opened, not sure if this was a bad day or if this is the quality now, but now it’s now mediocre at best. We went for Sunday breakfast on our way to St Augustine.
We got the country fried steak which was tough and chewy, the white gravy on top was very good.
The eggs were rubbery and the hash browns were undercooked.
We also got the corned beef hash which was actually really good, but again the eggs were supposed to be over easy and they came out over hard, the server was great and got that corrected right away.
We also got the pancake combo with breakfast potatoes, holy salt Batman! There was so much salt on the potatoes we couldn’t even eat them. The sausage links were very tasty and The pancakes were ok, again they were chewy and tough. This is a great location, I hope this was a one off and not the norm.

Stopped here for lunch from a trip to St.Aug.
My husband always wants breakfast so he had a Cheese omelette and grits . Loved it!! I had a turkey club on rye. I took one look at it and was impressed and knew I was going to have to get a box. It was delicious. Service was great
Bathroom was spotless. This was our second visit for lunch. Can’t complain!

We just stopped in for our first of hopefully many many times. We got the (seasoned) country fried steak , two eggs over easy ,
(me) hash browns , (wife) grits and toast. It was so delicious. The steak was seasoned perfect. The staff was so friendly and amazing.afterwards we checked online and saw their specials and lunch / dinner menu. Everything looked mouth watering and the Filipino specials looked. So amazing!! I can’t wait to come back for more ! Thank Y’all!!!

Great food, Rocky the chef;cooks like he’s working at Hilton Head. The prices were more than fair. The home made desserts for so fine and the portions were almost… should I say, HUGE! Plus they serve prime rib and breakfast All day. Stop here for real food and service. The Burger and fries ,drink and large slice of pumpkin pie around 16$. I’m not sure I paid a check for 2 and it was only 38$. My friend had a fish sandwich and fries and coleslaw and a slice of carrot cake. A real bargain for good food that’s fresh and delicious

We came here for breakfast today. I ordered the #3 Special, (Two eggs, bacon and biscuits & gravy). It was very tasty. My friend ordered some kind of a seafood chowder and toast. She said she had ordered it here before and it was her favorite. Crystal, our waitress was very attentive and friendly.

I wish I had visited this place sooner and not waited so long! Despite its small appearance from the outside, the interior was much larger than we anticipated. The food was delicious and came in generous portions. They also have a weekly specials menu and serve breakfast all day long! The place was busy, but not overly crowded. There was plenty of staff to ensure that we didn’t have to wait. Our food arrived hot and promptly, making for a delightful dining experience.

If you’re traveling between east and west coast of Florida take the scenic route that includes route 207 and stop at the 207 Diner in Palatka. There they have wholesome family food, a huge menu selection and great friendly service. Pass up the chain store restaurants and plan to eat here.
