3.8 deserves a 4 though with service. Let’s face it Mexican Buffet is hard to find. Use to be a staple growing up. They even bring you your refilled plates, very thorough. Check around the Dallas area for other locations..

Pancho’s is a great childhood memory for me, and I’m happy to say it still delivers. My wife and I visited on December 14, 2025, and the restaurant still has that same nostalgic feel that takes you right back in time.
For the most part, the food is just the way I remember it — and they still have, hands down, the BEST flautas anywhere. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better.
If you’re looking for a good meal and a trip down memory lane, Pancho’s is absolutely the place to go. Raise the Flag!!! 🙂

Nostalgia X3. The food is what I remember. It’s not fantastic, it’s not bad, there’s just plenty of it. Certain dishes stood out to me like the tamales, the yellow battered Chile rellenos, and the hot buttered cinnamon and sugar + honey sopapillas. The service was “just raise the flag” as expected.
The inside is kinda run down, it’s in a sketchy strip mall, and the bathrooms were pretty bad. You could smell the restroom all the way out in the dining area. But we didn’t get sick, and the whole Panchos buffet thing was a memory we wanted to experience again.

This was a total nostalgia trip. I hadn’t been to a Pancho’s since I was a teenager, some 30 plus years ago. The food was as I remembered. It isn’t stuffy food but comfort food in a flash. We did not get the wait person’s name but he was on it, very kind and answered my numerous questions about the business. I was a bit disappointed that there wasn’t a flag on the table. That was a piece of nostalgia I was really looking forward to. We both had the buffet and had the staples of my youth: flauta , chili releno , cheese and sour cream enchiladas and sopapillas. It’s not the best meal for a discerning palette but it is good comfort food. I am happy to know Pancho’s still exists and we will be back.

Pancho’s Mexican Buffet is definitely a place to go for the nostalgia. The food isn’t like super amazing, there are some items that were a lot better than others, especially the Chile rellenos, those never disappoint! Enchiladas were dry and didn’t seem like they cooked long enough. Sopapillas are still pretty good, they don’t have real honey, it’s like a honey flavored syrup. They used to have some amazing chocolate chip cookies, but sadly those and the ice cream machine are gone. I had a good time with friends and we will probably go back just to make more good memories.

They closed my local Panchos years ago and I traveled hours to go to this one and it was just like I remembered. I had a blast and the food was just like I remembered. Raise that flag!!!

Just the taste I was searching for! Exactly as I remember it. This place is a great nostalgia hit. Delicious, fresh food at a great price point. Quick and friendly staff at the buffet line. Wonderful server who never let our drinks go empty or our plates! Great job and will definitely be back.

Always live coming here me and .you family been coming since my kid’s were baby. And now they bring their kid’s. Food is always good but need to be a little faster on take out. Every time I come it’s like we’re being over looked. Take out time needs faster service. Ither then that you guy’s are the best

The food tastes like it’s been there since the opened today and the chicken enchiladas tasted like crap and the employees acted like they didn’t want to be a work today there was one family here besides me but there was 4 tables that had dirty plates on them when I walked in and it took them 20 minutes after I seat down at my table before anyone clean those 4 tables and the floor still had trash on it when I left 40 minutes later the bathroom had dryed toilet paper on the floor from where the toilet overflowed at some time this place used to be really good now it’s gone down hill really bad it’s not worth no $18.38 I will not come back they just need to close the door.
