Update: Visited on 8/15/25 and, sadly, things are not the same under new management. The menu has changed almost entirely, and the food quality is not up to par with what it used to be. I will miss the OG Steins dearly.
We arrived around 6:45 pm, but it felt like the restaurant was trying to close much earlier than the posted 9 pm closing time. We were told the kitchen closed at 7 pm, followed by last call at the bar at 7:15 pm. By about 7:50 pm, we were asked to pay and leave because the restaurant planned to close at 8 pm. This wasn’t communicated clearly when we arrived. And this was a Saturday night!
The atmosphere became uncomfortable very quickly. Music was turned off, TVs weren’t showing current sports, and it felt like guests were being rushed out rather than welcomed. The food was fairly bland and nothing memorable. There is a good beer selection, which might have helped if the overall vibe had been better.
This place has always seemed busy in the past, so we expected a much better experience.
This place had a change of owner as well as its whole menu, so do not expect the items you see in the photos to be available.
Good:
– Tons of displays – this place is amazing to watch games at. They have huge screens and small screens so you can see the whole thing from many angles
– Great for groups – the food comes out quick during happy hour too
– Loved the mac n cheese and added mushrooms to it – really cheesy and tasty
– The fried calamari and the chicken nachos were pretty tasty too – I liked how the nachos were like a deconstructed burrito
– Great service – they checked in on us a lot
Bad:
– Food is just more greasy and unhealthy – you aren’t coming here to get healthy food – you go to watch a game.
– Wasn’t a fan of the baked wings – not a lot of portion size and overly salty wings
Overall really fun experience here and super glad that I got to come! I’d definitely come back to watch another game.
