We got food from this place yesterday and my brother ordered garnachas, we got there at 12:00 pm and it was 12:55 when they said our order was ready. When we got to our office he opened the box and this is what aaa inside. Not only we waited a long time but his food didn’t look like the description at all!! I’m from Guatemala and we know how to make garnachas, this is not it. Everything from the pishtones to the meat wasn’t made how it’s supposed to. You should tell people what to expect if you’re not serving actual Guatemalan food!.

Really disappointed…. The custard was not too bad, although the flavor was a little bit different.
But the pastry with the custard wine was not good
And the other pastry with cream cheese was not very good at all the cream cheese had a weird after taste, and the picture itself was just OK

I ordered a cake for my boyfriend’s birthday & when I tell y’all they understood the assignment!! Im in love the cake was beautiful and yummy , Oreo tres leches cake! The cake only got ruined when I was on the way home lol . $40 was not bad at all for a custom cake . 10/10

Omg, stop here and go crazy with such variety of bakery items. I was a child once again. Jimena took care of me, she suggested pastries, provided me prices and was very friendly in getting my order. The location is great and has a cafe with a menu to sit and sip coffee and eat pastries.

Came in today wanting to order a cake, but it is ridiculously expensive for a small cake. About two months ago we ordered a cake from here for $90 and this time around they almost doubled the price to $160 for the same style of cake. They also want to charge extra for every single little thing. For example, they wanted to charge $5 per bow added to the cake as part of the design. So disappointed because we have been buying for many years.

First time trying this place. The pastries were fresh, very delicious to say the least. It was busy, the line was at the door but it went pretty fast. They also sell Guatemalan food. We tried the pupusas. I was really impressed because we took our food home and we live in Lewisville which is about 15 minutes & my pupusas were HOT, no exaggeration. I had never had pupusas with green salsa much less Guatemalan but it was fire & we will definitely be going back. Sorry I didn’t get a picture of the pupusas but they were a really good size.

First time visiting La Mejor & it won’t be our last time. We ate the pan con frijol y huevo, delicious. We also ate the pupusas. And they have horchata, my fave!! Also the ladies are so nice and friendly.

Jaqueline was the name they gave me. We ordered food, waited 42 min so we asked about our order. She just stood in the door (3 times) and came back to us 3 times saying “ dicen que no están listos” 4 more customers were arguing and waiting for they’re food 2 people waiting for ONE HOUR, one for 30 MINUTES, and the other one was “eat in” for also ONE HOUR. The girl with purple glasses went to check and said it was already ready and noticed they didn’t even charge us the moment after we ordered. People are nice, food is great but Jaqueline wasn’t it and the wait they had was insane.
