Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Same flavor as every other Wataburger in the country. The employees were great. The biggest difference is the most annoying noise! The front door has a fan that keeps or bugs, and it stays on for far too long. Something so small, but something that drove me insane while eating.

I had a bad experience at HEB and my family wanted some Whataburger for lunch. And the amount of love and care and hospitality I received from every single employee. From the person who took my order, to my payment and the one who brought me our food. And God bless you all and keep doing great. Y’all must have a great team and leadership to have so much grace and a damn Good experience. And most importantly. Thank you to the cooks!!! The unsung heroes. The food was delicious. First item of mention~ is the GREAT tasting beef in my burger. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor pairing of Blackberry and Dr.Pepper in a shake! A must try! Along with the tasty food was a friendly staff.

The bacon burger with blue cheese is a belly popper and I’m glad I didn’t check the amount of calories upfront, otherwise I wouldn’t have ordered it. But I’m glad I tried it and have no regrets.
This location is convenient next to the highway and we didn’t see 2 hours on our trip anything so were happy to finally see Whataburger popup!

Very friendly people working here. From the gentleman walking around asking everyone if everything is fine to the workers bringing our food and condiments to the person who took our orders. Food was great as well as my favorite, the apple pies . Delicious!
