Dropped in on a Saturday during lunch. Not very busy and was seated immediately. Great service, cool and fun atmosphere. The blackened catfish over grits had great flavor, unfortunately it was served cold. Oyster were tasty but had small shell bits left over. The beignets were stellar performers! Piping hot with great texture and flavor.

Stopped here today (Sunday brunch-hours). I think our server’s name was Valerie. She was very attentive to my friend and I and really helped offer some good recommendations (I am not from the south so I didn’t know what some of the menu items were). The other patrons of the restaurant were really kind as well and offered some good recommendations and even came over and offered my friend and I a beignet. Food was really delicious. The cook (I think his name was Stan) was so kind and thoughtful and really served up a delicious meal. I ordered some fried pickles with the BBQ Pulled pork sandwich with fried green tomatoes and collard greens. I also got the chicken tender plate to go with a couple sides which was excellent. Very delicious food, very reasonable pricing and very kind staff and patrons. Highly recommend!

First time at this restaurant. Tried the brunch on Saturday 2-11-23. It was just mediocre. The table service was good & the server was friendly. Atmosphere was ok. Decorated but simple. I had the shrimp & grits with hash brown casserole as a side. The food was average at best. The mimosas were good. Probably a better restaurant to try for a late lunch or dinner.

Omgoodness! Can’t leave enough stars for the food and experience we enjoyed. MJ(Jordan) you were so knowledgeable and so much fun! Your exuberance for what you do is astounding, thank you for making our day! The food oh oh OMG YUM! And just not what we ordered but the samples of goodness you allowed us to try!

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal! Such a good variety but focused menu. I had the low country boil and it was loaded with sausage, 15 large shrimp, new potatoes, onions and corn on the cob. I also sampled the fried oysters and shrimp on my friends dish. The Brunswick stew was phenomenal with just a hint of sweetness that is expected in a good stew! Definitely a MUST go when near Clemson.

We decided on a whim to stop in for brunch today and wow, are we glad we did! So much food and everything was SO good. We were so surprised they weren’t packed, it was that good. Definitely a well-kept secret right in downtown Clemson!

Food was great cooks are amazing. Literally asked the guy in the sweatshirt. If he remembered my sauce, he said yes, but no sauce with my sweet potato, baked potato, brisket to-go platter.
If y’all tried the sauce, you would understand my gripe.. even after I heard the cook yelling at you saying (remember every plate here does not leave this kitchen unless it has sauce.

The portions are small, dry, and overpriced. I know that is the objective of take out is to buy cheap and mark up 150% but the food should be edible! I order the nachos fries basket. It came clumped together and was so dry. The cheese was caked up, the pork was 100% flavorless. The shrimp in the poboy was ok, but they skimped on the slaw! Also, it didn’t seem to have the aioli sauce for the po boy, it was just ranch. Finally, u get about 6 fried oysters for $15, it is ludacris and you don’t even get hot sauce for your oysters. Skimp this place if you not drunk. If u are drunk tho, this is the place to be!

I was very excited to find a local place with the menu advertised. However, the Voodoo Oysters came drowning in pimento cheese and overcooked for char-grilled. They were extremely small and not cleaned well, very gritty/sandy. Also, the oyster prices were almost double than the menu advertised on their website.
The shrimp and grits were average although a good portion size.

We were in town for a graduation celebration and our grad picked this place. Well what a genuine disappointment. From the moment I walked in I looked around and the whole place was disgusting dirty. If it hadn’t been something she had picked I would have instantly walked out. I could go on forever but I’ll focus on what my husband and I ordered. He ordered the brunswick stew which in his view was at best acceptable, but only luke warm. The pulled pork sandwich was dry and had zero kind of BBQ sauce. To me it looked like it was left over from the previous day exactly like the dry chewy and burnt brisket that I got. I can’t say I have ever had worse brisket in my life. I would never go back to eat there, even if they offered me a free meal. The food really deserves less than 1 star and the cleanliness of the place about a minus 5 stars. I’m surprised the health department hasn’t shut it down.
