We set out on a magnificent culinary adventure at the newly launched Pali Bhavan at Eros, a true gastronomic treasure that shines bright with its sublime Indian cuisine. The ambiance was very laid back, bathed in a warm glow by colonial decor and softly radiant lights. Our delightful odyssey commenced with Tandoori pomfret, Galouti kebab, Malai chicken tikka, and prawn, each dish a brilliant testament to the chef’s innovative genius. The main course showcased their legendary crab Sukkha and Kali Dal, masterfully crafted to exhilarate the senses. The crowning glory was the paan kulfi and chocolate roshogolla, desserts that left us utterly enchanted. The food was truly sublime, with flavors that joyfully danced on the palate and desserts that stole the spotlight, rendering the entire experience profoundly unforgettable.

There’s an unmistakable old-world charm here; an almost nostalgic, lived-in elegance that feels refreshingly authentic in a city that often chases the new and shiny.

The ambience is wonderfully understated: warm lighting, vintage touches, wooden furniture that has seen stories, and that classic Bombay colonial-meets-Bandra vibe.

The food is rich, deeply flavoured, cooked with real care. Every dish carries that unmistakable depth; nothing is timid or overly polished. The spicing is confident, the portions generous, and the execution consistent. It’s the kind of meal that lingers in memory long after you’ve left.

Whether it’s a quiet celebration, a catch-up with old friends, or simply craving something soulful, Pali Bhavan delivers exactly what one hopes for in a neighbourhood favourite: character, flavour, and comfort in equal measure.

Highly recommended for those who appreciate substance over spectacle.

Simply the best Indian food I’ve ever eaten. I’ve visited twice and everything I’ve ordered and been recommended has been delicious.

Service was quick and smooth and the setting is gorgeous. The restaurant looks completely innocuous from the outside but inside is very well decorated and welcoming.

The Gunpowerd Potatoes were perfectly spiced. A real standout dish and I’ll be ordering a portion every time I visit.

Feel like I was unknowingly looking for this curry my whole life.

Nepalese Dumplings were the most surprising and excellent. Served with a carrot chutney with a hidden bit of spicy kick.

Traditional chicken curry was good enough to drink.

So pleased.

The building has an air of indifferent sophistication about it. From the outside it could be any random building but as you step in you only vintage articles. The stairs, the lighting and the decoration are curated to ooze old worldly urbanity and glamour.

I think the lighting could have been brighter but hey, most patrons seem to like it the way it is.

The service was quick, the food delicious and the beer served chilled.

Tasty authentic Indian food, we tried butter chicken and plain Nan, fried crispy fish. Not to forget rasmali for dessert . Very good service and nice decoration

We came here for dinner. When we reached at 7.45, the occupancy was about 15% but we we left at 9.30, it was almost full on Friday evening. We started with some wine and cocktail. Then we had Rataloo & Matar Tikki, Acaari Paneer Tikka, Tandoori Peri Peri Shakarkand, Bhatti Malai Broccoli, Quinoa Dal Vada, Lamb Sheekh Kebab, Dal Makhani with Butter Roti and Kulcha. Each and every dish was delicious.
The service was super fast. Whatever we ordered, it came within 5 minutes. Our server Mahendra Khadka was very helpful and courteous. He helped us to select right dishes for us. The décor was simple and rustic but at the same time tastefully done. The ambiance was great, perfect for family and friendly outings.

Gave 4 stars because the food we ordered was solid, about 4/5, though it lacked that wow factor. Everything else about this place is fantastic.

The cocktails are easily some of the best in town—strong and packed with flavor. The ambiance is amazing, making it an ideal spot to catch up with old friends or enjoy a meal with family, though it might not be the best choice for a date.

The staff is friendly and helpful, especially when it comes to recommending dishes. While the food is a bit on the pricey side, the drinks and ambiance definitely make it worth the cost.
