Palace Kitchen has long been a Seattle favorite for locals, industry folks and family gatherings. We hope you will cozy up in one of our dimly lit booths and watch our team work in the open kitchen, grilling whole trout and chickens over our applewood grill or paying homage to a plate of spring vegetables. The bar at Palace Kitchen is often bustling, and we invite you to dine with us into the wee hours, as we serve our full menu until 12am.
Upscale New American food and cocktails from chef Tom Douglas in booths with intimate lighting.

First time here and I love this place.. Come early it gets packed. Food is top notch. We came for happy hour 5pm-6pm. We ordered from the Happy Hour Menu:
$2 oysters
Crispy fish filet sliders (1 order is 2 sliders)
Palace Chalice drinks
Red wine sangria & pk spritz
Off the Happy Hour Menu we ordered the steamed clams with foccacia.
Everything was so yummy. The drinks on point. Great happy hour prices and value! We ended the Happy Hour with an old fashion and affogados.
Highly recommend.

This place was another one recommended to me by one of the regulars at Rider, so of course I had to see what the hype was about! We came here right after checking out Rob Roy, also located in Belltown.
The space has that cozy, old-school Seattle charm, dimly lit with an intimate vibe that’s perfect for late night conversations. The open kitchen concept is really cool, and the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the irresistible aroma of grilled dishes coming off the wood-fire.
It was pretty packed when we arrived, so we just grabbed a drink at the bar to get a feel for the place. Service was okay considering how busy it was, the staff still managed to stay attentive and friendly. I heard Palace Kitchen is one of the few spots in the city that serves late-night eats, which is always a plus if you’re looking for quality food after hours.
Definitely planning to come back next time to actually try the food. I heard great things about their apple wood-grilled trout.

My wife and I visited Palace Kitchen for their 30-year anniversary celebrating three decades of cooking on their applewood grill. My wife, arriving before me, ordered the tomato braised meatballs made with a mint labneh, feta cheese, & pistachio dukkah. She saved one for me after she munched a few-we both agreed these were delicious. I ordered the special 5-course tasting menu but my wife, her appetite tempered by the meatballs, ordered the celery root & leek pierogi. She was somewhat disappointed. This was an entree of three small, ordinary pierogis, claimed they were okay, however, not a good value considering price.
For me, I hit the jackpot, blown away by each of the 5 celebratory dishes celebrating the anniversary of 30 successful years. All very impressive samplers, a well-executed experience featuring standouts starting with the goat cheese grill toast, then the fire wilted escarole, Manila clam broth featuring Tom Douglas’ 2-year aged miso & shiitake mushrooms were next…but the 4th course, my favorite of all courses, was the perfectly grilled lamb chop with turnip potato gratin & rosemary cream-hands down, the best chop of grilled lamb I’ve ever eaten. This chop had a great sear. The warm, reddish-pink center enhanced by the smoky flavor, was similar to a fine tenderloin.
Finally, the cranberry Basque cake my wife and I shared was a fabulous final course dessert.
Overall, the anniversary menu I had made for a truly enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this celebratory special tasting available for the month of March, 2026.
Don’t hesitate, book your reservation today!

The food is divine, the service impeccable, and the vibe is worth every penny. All the comfort and cozy delight of a medieval palace, melded with the style and class of the twenty first century.
Pro tip, don’t miss the seats at the bar!

Good casual vibe with a well-executed small menu featuring applewood grilled meats, burgers and the like. Coconut cream pie is an amazing finish.

Till continues to impress! The menu is still carefully crafted, the cocktails are fantastic, and the service is consistently excellent—friendly, efficient, and welcoming. The highlight for me is definitely the large order of plin as a starter—it’s seriously worth it and sets the tone for the rest of the meal. Everything feels high quality, from the ingredients to the presentation. Prices are a bit higher than your average spot, but considering the food, drinks, and location, it’s a solid value. The atmosphere is inviting and lively, making it a great place for a date night, a night out with friends, or just a special treat. Till has a way of making every visit feel memorable, and I keep coming back because it just works. Definitely a spot I’d recommend to anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience.

What a special place. Everyone is super warm and sweet. Great choices on the menu. The schnitzel was perfect. Everyone on our party had a nice time. Service was super attentive and very thoughtful. We are coming back again soon to sit at the bar and try the rest of the menu including dessert. Definitely a Seattle institution. Chef Ron stopped by to say hello and greet us and we really enjoyed talking with him. What a great spot. See you again soon.

Good delicious food as expected for the price with amazing service. The wood grilled chicken wings for starter were great but be prepared to get your hands dirty. They do provide wet towels afterwards. Drinks were good. The entree i ordered was the rockfish, it was perfectly cooked although salty. Got the coconut pie slice for dessert and it was heavenly, highly recommend that (of course it’s a share portion because its a big slice.). Our server whose name i could not catch, was the best, made us feel welcomed and also took off the price of the pie slice because of a birthday celebration. Highly recommend!

It was our first time back to palace kitchen since we moved out of Seattle. Our return was one of the best experiences we’ve had there… the food was amazing, the drinks were crafted with care especially the ones on special, and most importantly, the entire staff were the best! Treated us with care, turned us on to new items, and always ensured we were okay. We will be back asap!
