Cocktails pair cleanly with spice. Service moves with quiet precision. From date nights and client dinners to weekend brunches, guests call RASA the benchmark for South Indian dining in the Bay Area. Rasa offers a lovely fine-dining experience with a modern ambience thoughtfully blended with touches of South Indian heritage. The sliders were fresh and well-made, standing out in both flavor and presentation. While the vegetarian options were somewhat limited, they were tasty and well executed. Overall, it’s a great spot for ambience and quality food, and I’d rate it 4/5.

Such a nice dining experience. Everything we tried was phenomenal, but our favorite dish was the Indian Railway Peppers. Excellent service and food was well-paced. The plating is also very pretty. I’m looking forward to returning!

I loved my visit to this restaurant! The vibes are great, perfect service, and most important, AMAZING food. I would highly recommend stopping in to try this restaurant. I went with a party of three and we ordered several items so we could share and try them, everything was delicious. I attached sone photos. The corn thing looked nasty and I was like eww I’m not eating that. Then I tried it and OMG it was so good we ordered a second one.

Went here for dinner with friends….started off with small plates like railway pepper (fritters kinda), beetroot salad, 2 feet dosa (withith secret ghost pepper podi chutney/powder) and chutney prawns….
All of them were good
The entree were somehow not interesting and tasty : lotus root kofta curry and butter chicken…..
Cocktails were decent!
Would recommend for a appetizer session, maybe not worthy of full-on dinner

Handful of Michelin star restaurant of Indian decent. This one definitely is top notch in terms of taste.
It’s a two level, tiny restaurant, definitely go with restorations.
Starters, main course and dessert were delicious.
Highly recommended for business meetings or date night!

Had a not so great experience when we dined in. Shrimp uttampam was not cooked..batter was still raw..calamari was too rubbery to chew.. cauliflower manchurian was very mediocre ..sliders were just ok ..guess it hyped too much..while I paid 200$ for these 4 items with a dark choc dessert..idli chat was eatable though. Big hole in the pocket..while you expect good tasting food when u pay so much..big let down

Rasa is a fantastic restaurant and a great choice for a birthday evening. The food is phenomenal, offering unique takes on classic dishes with a great fusion of Indian flavors. The selection is impressive, and the service is excellent—quick, attentive, and friendly. The ambience is nice, though it can get a bit loud since the place is always crowded. Be sure to go with a reservation. Highly recommend it for a special event!

Had a fantastic dinner. Unplanned stop on a busy Friday night and lucked into a table. The sliders were fantastic. The dosa crisp and authentic. I have a pretty low spice tolerance and was worried that the biryani would be as spicy as it was in Hyderabad. It was perfect. The lotus root curry was delicious, but too spicy for me. Desert was something to behold. Cardamom brûlée.
