Tonight me and my daughter went out for a mommy and daughter date (her birthday was yesterday) after all the rave I had heard about this place on the “Fort worth foodies” page we decided to give it a try! Worst mistake of my life. From the start the service was terrible. Long wait time to get us seated. (There wasn’t a line) once the waitress sat us down she gave us the menu. The menus were dirty. Then after 10-15 minutes of waiting she finally came to take our order.

We didn’t get to eat because they were the hottest spot for Cinco de Mayo! They had a band on the roof and a little craft fair in the back.

As soon as I walked in I knew this place was going to be great. The music and decor let you know this is authentic, and the food did not disappoint. Possibly the best salsa I’ve had in recent memory. My coworkers had the chili relleno and loved it, while I had the birria tacos.

Sometimes it can be a hit or miss with the food (stale chips, tough meat), but when it’s a hit it’s great! Delicious guacamole, pretty standard house margarita. The service is consistent! I do wish the bathroom was cleaner but the vibes/art/decor is really fun.

1st time and the last time I’ll spend money here. I ordered 2 street taco plates and 1 quesadilla plate, queso and guacamole. The food is bland and overcooked and the presentation is laughable. It looks like they just threw the food in the box. On top of that I did not get the chips and queso and the guacamole was 1 Oz at best. 1/5 would not recommend. The atmosphere seemed cool as there was a dj, maybe the alcohol is better.

Had lunch here for the first time. The cheese did not taste too fresh. There seemed to be burnt pieces in it. The chicken flautas did not have much flavor. The service was okay. The music they had in was good though.

We were a party of 8 on a Saturday night. We were there for their margaritas. We each barely got served one drink. After we ordered, we waited for 45 minutes for 2 of 8 dishes to come out, another 45 minutes for 4 more dishes to come out, after another 30 minutes the last dishes came out completely wrong! All of our drinks (that we had been served 2 hours ago) were empty, including the water. Do not recommend!

Very disappointed. Starting with the atmosphere. I thought I walked into a funeral. Then the queso…zero flavor. Margs…started with zero flavor then a bitterness from hell hits you. Fajitas…bland. Birria tacos…bland. The wait staff barely spoke to us. They were too concerned with congregating in their respective stations and speaking with each other. I guess the fact that it was almost completely EMPTY on a Friday evening should have been my first clue but hey the bartenders had man buns so…I guess that means they know how to make a drink? Honestly save your $$ Rosa’s is better.

Great place and awesome location. Food was delicious. We were just disappointed that this location didn’t have the Margarita tower. Will be checking out the Sundance location next!
