Excellent pizzas, salads, and sandwiches in this smaller and more casual version of Laurel Canyon’s Pace. Their bread (between the baguette and focaccia) is delicious, and can be bought. Simple but fun patio in the back. Try their salmon sandwich!

Organic restaurant with vegan and plant based options! They have organic pizzas and a lot of other options. Oh and the outdoor patio is really cool and chill, has heat lamps as well, this is not a fancy restaurant , kind of like what you see at a vegan joint , they have a sister restaurant I called Pace in Laurel Canyon that is more fine dining with a Topanga Canyon vibe. This is my go to, I eat here 1 to 3 times per week and sometimes I just stop by to get the fresh baked organic baguette and make my own avocado toast at home. This is some of the best bread in LA. For dinner I usually get the wild salmon with sautéed spinach and green beans. Lunch I will get the organic avocado toast or organic chopped salad. For dessert try the apple crumble it is awesome! This is one of the best salmon dishes in LA. The chef really knows what he is doing on the grill! This place has a nice chill vibe although sometimes the music is bumping quite loud. The organic grass fed burger is also one of the best burgers in town and is enough to feed 2 it’s huge and comes with fries. I highly recommend this place and will come back again and again.

I really wanted to like this place because the patio and the waitstaff were so lovely, but food wise I gotta be honest. The pizza was very average – not good and definitely not worth the price. I got a little eeked out because as I was eating my pasta (also super duper average and not worth the price), I noticed giant flakes of the pan or something that had stuck and then been released from the pan. It was definitively not shaved mushrooms or meat or anything – it had zero flavor and was just black, like char or the coating of the pan itself. Don’t go here unless maybe you order the cheapest pizza and have accoutrements at the ready to give it much-needed flavor.

Not the best experience. I called to order. I got there a few minutes past the given time. My pizza was ready, but the garlic bread took another 30 minutes. The host kept asking the cooks about the bread. After 20 minutes of waiting there, they finally put it in the oven. Was not worth it. Garlic bread was bad, even if I got it on time. Host also grabbed my muffin with his hands to put in my bag…there were tongs right next to the platter.

I live in the neighborhood and order from Place Joint weekly. The pizzas are all fantastic, with an amazing crust covered in quality ingredients. The pastas are also delicious. While most of the time I just get take out, there’s also a very charming patio in the rear that is perfect for an intimate dinner or a group of friends.

I ordered the meatball sandwich. The bread was the only positive, the meat is dry and lacking of its own flavor. The sauce has a sweet displeasing taste, the cheese was ok. All in all OVERATED and cafeteria taste, not for me.

I’m from NYC and can be picky about my pizza and my bagels. I got a 12 inch pepperoni and it met my expectations. The pepperoni’s edges were perfectly crisp, and it came with a layer of fat you could see. I didn’t have enough napkins to dab it, so I went in it was finger licking good. The back patio is a cute vibe to check out too. Bring a date, friend or group.

Look it’s hit or miss just like most restaurants. You’re not gonna like everything. I will say the ribs SLAP! They are so delicious and fall off the bone. And the sauce in them is YUM. And I love the buttermilk pancakes with blueberries and the bacon is thick and crispy. They can keep the burger and the pizzas tbh… they are always behind with pick up orders and sometimes forget the condiments etc so check your bags. I’d avoid delivery bc they won’t verify your order. Overall it’s a good spot.

Maybe my lesson learned here is don’t order ribs at a pizza place? Ribs and salmon both so salty we could barely eat them. Unfriendly staff.
