Stopped by for dinner. I ordered the yuca cheese bites and taquitos. You would order first before getting seated. The yuca bites was really really good. They mixed the cheese with the yuca and fried it and served with some sort of cheese or chocolate sauce. The taquitos were also delicious and you get three for one portion. Overall a good experience!.

Visited this restaurant twice in 1 month. Went for the launch of their brunch menu & returned a few weeks later for dinner. Their food is absolutely amazing!! The margaritas are good as well. The Crab empanadas is 1 of my favorite items to order.

We really love O’Ya and think the food is delicious. Unfortunately we frequently get stale chips (like tonight). Not a deal breaker since they came with the food. We also didn’t get any salsa with the chips. At $40 for two people, I would love to see chips and salsa come with the meal. Should be standard IMO, but has always been inconsistent for us. I love everything I’ve tried here and overall have positive experiences. Just a couple suggestions above to improve the experience. It’s a bit pricey but I feel the food is always fresh and tasty.

OMG Just ate the best chicken quesadilla I’ve ever had! It was packed with moist flavorful tinga chicken. Seriously can’t wait to go back. Apologies for the pic, we had wolfed down most of the quesadilla!

This place had great food and the prices were reasonable. Normally I would rate such a place a 5 but throughout the meal we were constantly battling flies. It was a nice day so we started outside but we couldn’t take a bite without having to swat flies away from our food. We moved inside and were disappointed to find that the flies were almost just as bad. It really took away from the enjoyment of the food. We mentioned it to the staff. They said that they were aware of the problem and were still looking for a solution. I hope they find one. It would be a great place minus the flies.

I loved my experience at O’ya. I went as a part of the Offline membership for the month of February so I had $10 off. I wouldn’t normally go here because it is 30 minutes from my house but I appreciated the chance to try a new place. The food was amazing and it came out very quickly. I got the chicken tacos, cheese dip and plantains. The tacos were so good. They were made with Peruvian style chicken. The homemade pickles were delicious as well. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is lovely.

We had several items and all of them were fantastic. The taquitos, both tinga and carne , were extremely tasty and plated beautifully. We also had the vegetarian tostadas (the seasoning was delicious on the broccoli & cauliflower & potatoes), pupusas and a stunning veggie burrito – all of which we’ll make the drive back for again happily and soon.

I went for Sunday lunch for the first time. I expected to have a nice experience, but was unpleasantly surprised. The menu for lunch had about 3 items on it. We got the lunch tacos, which came with 2 ripped leaky tacos that had barely anything in them and did not taste very good. Will not come back.

My boyfriend and I moved into Briar Chapel two weeks ago. On the day we moved, we don’t feel like cooking or taking out from our fav resto downtown Chapel Hill. We looked up on Google nearby restaurant and we try O’ya Cantina. OMG!! Their Nachos are the best Nachos we have both ever eaten by far. $17 to feed 3 people I think. Big portion. You should try it so you would believe me! I will add a picture next time.

It was ok, I’ve definitely had a lot better and a lot worse. Kitchen was slow during the lunch I was there, it was busy but I didn’t think super crowded. Not super flavorful but very fresh tasting.
