Very, very nice, classy restaurant. Excellent menu. Great staff. Old-fashioned, high class restaurant reminiscent of the 50s and 60s. Wide range of things to order. Absolutely the best hush puppies I’ve had in many years (I even got some to go because they were so good!). We ordered the Flash Fried Calamari – perfectly crispy, light crust with juicy, tender calamari. Next, we had the house salad. Cool, crisp, with homemade dressing – very fresh. We ordered the 10 oz Prime Rib with asparagus. It was cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious. No room for dessert but they looked amazing. It’s a bit pricey but worth it. Next time I’m back in the Outer Banks, I’ll definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Wonderful place to dine with a lot of history and charm. The hostess and wait staff were great and we had a really good experience. We went here based upon a friend in group had come here as a child so why not go down memory lane.

We found this place by chance. We are staying in Nags Head, literally right across the street. I looked them up online first and decided to try them. The atmosphere is very neat. Oceanic, but warm and cozy. I definitely would love to come back. The food was delicious. The hushpuppies were great, and I ate the prime rib which was fantastic. The service was excellent, and the wait for our food wasn’t very long at all. Overall a great place, and when we come back and stay elsewhere, it’s definitely worth a drive to eat here. I really really like this restaurant.

Service was probably the worst service I’ve ever experienced. Took 20 minutes to simply get our drink order. Took 70 minutes for our food to come. My table as well as the others around me were very frustrated with our waiter. Our drinks were not refilled. The chicken pasta was really good as well as the pineapple bread pudding. The seafood was average. Will not be coming again. The food is NOT worth the wait NOR the price. Very frustrated. Spent well over 2 hours here. He did not deserve a tip but we tipped 20% anyways.

We have been meaning to try Owen’s forever and they did not disappoint! It was like I was dining on a cool first class 1920’s steamliner. Super cool. And the food was super awesome. Portions were huge!! Definitely on the pricier side but it is SO worth it!

If you want top notch service in a old school restaurant Owens’ is your spot . Call early because they only take call ahead . We waited about 20 minutes but were quickly and had drinks and apps ordered in about 10 minutes. I started with the wedge salad , it was one of the best I had . My sons had Ribs which were just fall off the bone and delicious. My other son had coconut shrimp and he got a ton . For my main I went with the king cut Prime Rib , this Auju was hands down the best I’ve ever had and the meat was perfectly cooked with green beans and Garlic smashed . The desserts were just as amazing, the keylime pie and creme brulee were great . Definitely make Owens’ your big family dinner out while in OBX

History buffs will marvel at the Owens’ collection of museum quality artifacts dedicated to the maritime history of the Outer Banks. The rest of us will enjoy the delicious and generous food offerings!! We had the special appetizer – Stuffed Mushroom Caps with andouille sausage & mascarpone cheese… delicious. The CAROLINA BLUE SALAD with baby iceberg, tomatoes, applewood bacon, blue cheese, lemon basil drizzle and SALAD with crisp leaf and mixed greens, garden tomatoes, cucumber and red onion!!
