Friendly place! We were there on Valentine’s Day! They do not take reservations! We got there at 4:30 line was around the building! Got in pretty quick to put in our name! Hostess said it would be a 2:00 hour wait! We were seated in about an hour and twenty minutes! We had two appetizers, onion strings and crispy potato wedges, I had The Texas Spiced Prim rib, with Brussels sprouts it did not disappoint! My husband had the Grouper with jumbo shrimp, rice and roasted asparagus, we both enjoyed our meal! The German be Chocolate Cake for dessert was fresh homemade and delicious! Great prices for Valentine’s Day! We will be back!

First time visitors and it was Valentine’s Day too. They don’t take reservations. Got there early before opening and there was still a line outside. Once inside was quoted a wait of 2 hrs but was seated in 90 minutes. Most ppl just wait in their cars.
Had onion strings and potato wedges to kick things off. Both were good but eat the onions while hot. The dip with it was great!
I had the grouper and shrimp dish which was excellent. I included rice and asparagus with a crab cake for fun! All were good. The asparagus was hot and still crunchy the way I like it and seasoned perfectly.
My wife had the Texas spiced prime rib with Brussels sprouts and she loved it.
The German chocolate cake is homemade and very good.

Food & service was amazing.
We were told the desserts are all made in house. I don’t have Photos, but we chose a cheesecake, moose Oreo, dessert to go and it was excellent.
They have a lot of drink offerings, and they are quite generous on the alcohol.
Perfect spot for all occasions or celebrating anyone special:)
I had the lamb and it was delicious.
NOTE: parking can be a bit hectic finding a spot during when they first open for the day on a Saturday. Just keep that in mind.
We showed up around 4:45pm on a Saturday and we had to wait an hour & 20 minutes for a table for four.

Started with filet mignon beef medallions and they were very good. You get 4 pieces for $20 so wish there was a little more for the price. I ordered the 16oz texas spiced prime rib ($48) with the burgundy mushrooms and separately ordered stuffed tomatoes signature side($7.50). The prime rib was served in a unique way. They must have sliced it and then seared it. The texas spice was okay but some of the seasoning tasted burnt where the grill marks are. The mushrooms and the stuffed tomatoes just needed some salt that I added at the table. My wife had a burger and my baby boy had some chicken tenders. No complaints from them. We will be back, but we will try different options on the menu.

The food is mixture of good and not good. The steak was delicious and very tender. I had the prime rib and my friends had a ribeye which was delicious! The crabdip was not so great. It lacked flavor and tasted like it was something they just warm up and not freshly made. The pita chips were bland. Salad was awesome!! I had the spinach salad. Baked potato was still a little hard and not the best. Brussel sprouts were really good!! Those stuffed mushrooms are delicious as well! The drinks weren’t strong at all. We had a lemon drop and my friend had another drink. German chocolate was very moist and we enjoyed it! It’s nice inside. Our server Dillon was great! He made sure we were taken care of!!! He was very attentive. We didn’t have to wait long to be seated. The prices are reasonable. Parking is good but it was packed. I would recommend some food items but not all. I would go back but it’s not at the top off my list.

Over all a very good experience. Clean. Professional and prompt wait staff. Seated immediately even though they were super busy. Food was hot, fresh and delish. I stopped in for a hot meal while traveling for business. I’d definitely stop here again. Ty for the hospitality.

Out West in Kernersville is officially THAT place. The food was amazing from start to finish — flavorful, fresh, and cooked perfectly. But let me talk about what really stole the show… the Salted Caramel Apple Martini.
Baby. When I tell you this was hands down one of the best martinis I’ve ever had, I mean that. Perfectly balanced, smooth, not overly sweet, and just the right amount of salted caramel flavor. As a self-proclaimed martini girl, I do not say that lightly. They nailed it.
The vibe was great, the service was on point, and that martini alone is enough to bring me back. If you’re in Kernersville, do yourself a favor and go. And do NOT leave without ordering that Salted Caramel Apple Martini. Trust me. ✨

Excellent mahi mahi dish. The shrimp were also fantastic. It was pricey but great. We got in line 30 minutes before they opened and we’re seated immediately. Go early.

WOW!!! If you want a great steak that will melt in your mouth and you will remember as one of the best steaks you have ever had…..go to Out West.
I have been there a handful of times and this time I went with a friend to celebrate my birthday. My brother had given me a gift card, as it is priced on the high side, but is worth it. If you have been to Ruth Chris, I would say it is slightly less than eating there.
We both had a mixed drink that was $12 each. She had a filet mignon and I had steak medallions covered with a flavorful sauce with mushrooms. We had 2 side, but I think we had to pay for our second side. We also had dessert. She got the key lime pie and said it was delicious. I had the pecan pie cheesecake. It was just “OK”. The top of the cheesecake was topped with pecan pie. I’m not going to put down the price of our meal, because I don’t want to deter anyone from going.
For me, and my budget, Out West is a “Special Occasion”place to eat.
I strongly encourage you to eat there if you can. You will not be disappointed in the service or the meal. And, you will want to return.

We got there before the dinner rush and we’re seated immediately. We didn’t order anything complicated, the breaded onion starter, a ribeye and the grouper w/shrimp for the main course. A party of two arrived after we did, had a different waiter, and received their first course before our starter ever arrived. Same with the main course. We didn’t eat fast and yet we were sitting there waiting on our food all evening. A party of six arrived and also received timely wait service.
The ribeye was grilled perfectly and delicious. The grouper was dry and not very tasty. The creme brulee was also very good.
I can’t give them more than four stars overall because of the slow service we were provided. Sadly my dinner guest said they wouldn’t care if they ever went back to that restaurant.
