Voted in the top 10 Mexican restaurants in Indiana and Kentucky and Famous for our Home-style Comfort food, we are proud of our reputation. All of our ingredients are locally sourced and we make our own salsa and chips, fresh every day. El Maguey is owned by Raquel Moran, who grew up in her mother’s restaurant and discovered her passion for delicious authentic food at a young age. Everything was absolutely amazing. We were visiting from Alabama.
The customer service is top notch. They were constantly checking on my husband and I making sure we were good.
Food was great. Fresh food and I was in love with the tall drink glasses they served. The server said that was their regular size, I would hate to see what the large looks like lol. I was hoping the Mexican resturants grab this concept where I am from.
I would definitely recommend this place and cant wait to visit Kentucky to come back to this spot definitely 10/10

Love this place, the decor, music and more.. Wherever I travel, I look for the best Mexican restaurant and this is definitely one of them. I tried the cilantro lime steak street tacos and they didn’t disappoint. The food is hot, fresh and delicious.

Had a wonderful dinner!! The restaurant is decorated so thoughtfully with warm welcomes. The menu has a wide variety and selection. I got the mahi mahi which was absolutely delicious and seasoned so well. I loved that they brought such a big glass for my water and cheese along side of the chips & salsa. Service was great. I will absolutely be back and recommend to friends and family!

When we first walked in we were greeted enthusiastically by the host. They are very welcoming. We were seated right away and had chips and salsa before we knew it. The drinks come in small pitcher type containers. All of the food was amazing. Having been born and raised in Texas, we tend to be Mexican food snobs. Highly recommend El Maguey!

We had a good meal. The restaurant is large and modern. The communication with the headsets was organized. Our server was the short coming of the meal as she took forever to greet us, super long for waters. No follow up on any dishes, dish removal was poor. Good thing the rating was not just on the waitress. The food was good we had and enjoyed chips, Salsa, Guacamole, cheese dip, fajitas, kids nachos and quesadillas, southwest salad, margaritas were really good. Flan was ok, ice cream was good. Menu is huge! Loved the huge drinks, was great to not need refills. Live music tonight

The service was phenomenal. Food came out quick and hot. Steak seemed a tad tougher than i prefer, I took my left overs with me though… the flavor was good enough for me to overlook that. The music was OK. Familiarity with songs kept me engrossed. The flight margaritas seemed juiced down but still didnt disappoint if you drank all 4 I’d come back for certain.

Went today for lunch with my niece and sister. Between us we ordered the cheese dip, tacos supreme, two servings of mini chimi’s and the quesa (birria) tacos to try. I ordered my chimi’s vegetarian (not on the menu but the staff accommodated me perfectly). Pedro was our server and he was awesome. Very nice, knowledgeable, funny and charismatic! He was also very attentive as was all the staff. Our food was amazing! Nothing at all disappointing! Those quesa (birria) tacos were amazing and will be my new fav dish for sure! The only suggestion i would make is that if it were me I would change the name of the quesa tacos to birria tacos given the viral stuff about them on tik tok. I think people would recognize the dish more. But that’s totally the only change I’d make! It was fire people super super delicious! Much love.
