Brij Mohan is a great spot for authentic Indian flavors. Their Papri Chaat and Dahi Poori are outstanding — crisp, tangy, and perfectly spiced. The Tarka Dal is flavorful and feels just like home-cooked comfort food.

The only miss was the chai, which was quite average and could use some improvement to match the rest of their menu. Overall, a wonderful experience with friendly service and great value — definitely worth visiting for a true taste of India in Cincinnati!

Brij Mohan Vegetarian Indian Sweets and Restaurant takes vegetarian food lovers on a delightful journey immersed in Indian culture. The ambiance, enriched by local diners, adds an authentic touch. The standout dish is the appetizer—the crispy puffs with a unique herb dipping sauce, showcasing innovative vegetarian cuisine. The self-service model creates a casual vibe, and the dessert selection is a sweet temptation. It is small family owned Indian vegetarian restaurant. They sell sweets and snacks too besides main course food.

Food was delicious and has enough quantity. Sweets were awesome. Sweet price is little expensive but worth a try various Indian delicacy.

We ordered carry out (North Indian food and some appetizers) and order was promptly completed. The only suggestion for employees is that it is ok to smile. It makes it more inviting environment for guests. It appears that everyone was under stress all the time. With top notch quality of food, you gotta to smile.

Parking is available in front of restaurant.

Keep up the good work.

Wonderful food! We were in Cincinnati for a weekend, and visited this restaurant that our nephew recommended highly. And I endorse his message. This is a vegetarian restaurant, with all the popular Indian restaurant food – chhole, dahi puri, samosa, malai kofta, garlic naan, aloo parantha, and the like. It is a fairly extensive menu, and there is a large collection of mithaai, which is all great. Not only did we eat a lot, we ended up packing it for the evening, and bought mithai to take home. I highly recommend their mithai, especially the pethas.

When I want to have authentic Indian chaats, this is my go to place. I love their jalebis and paani puri. Their chai is a must try. Dont forget to pack your assorted sweets on the way home.

Only vegetarian place with good menu
Pretty tasty sweets. Highlight are the Bengali sweet options
Chaat is average but the menu is huge so we can find something or the other for ourselves

The billing process is a little confusing and slow. However, good thing is that we can customise our orders. It is feasible.

The best Indian non-veg restaurant in town if you like food with less spicy levels. Best for everyone in general as the food would be sweet and spicy (if you ask for more spicy).

Gobi Manchurian with rice is worth going for. And sweets are absolutely delicious. Sweets are not too sweet (less sugar) and tasty. My favorites are rasmalai and Jilebi.

Notes:
1. Ask for extra spicy if you eat food spicy.
2. Self service.

Fresh food! The portions are smaller for the price, but the food is so fresh and good. Shahi paneer is one of my favorite dishes and it comes with rice. Garlic naan was fresh and had great flavor. Mango lassi was smooth and had the right amount of sweetness. I also tried baingan bharta (not pictures) which made of eggplant and it was absolutely delicious! It’s similar to baba ganoush and I will definitely get it again.

At this place, you order at the counter and pay. You get a buzzer to tell you when your food is ready and you choose your seating. It’s kind of like a Panera. Definitely recommend this spot.
