This was my first time trying this restaurant and I was heavily disappointed. As much as I loved the ambiance, I think the food was pretty average for me.

the food was very disappointing, the heirloom tomato salad was bad, since the whole dish was cold, as if it just came out of the fridge, and therefore the tomatoes had no flavor. The waiter was great, and offered to take off the salad from the bill, compensating for a really bad food experience. Two stars for the food, five stars for the service.

As someone who recently visited Outlier restaurant, I have mixed feelings about my experience. The food wasn’t bad, but I was disappointed to find out that the $18 burgers didn’t come with any side dish, and I had to pay an extra $7 for fries. While the burgers were tasty, I felt like the prices were quite steep for what we got.

We stopped here just for a snack. We had the traditional vanilla milk shake and garlic fries. Fries were loaded with cheese and great flavor. I just thought a little too expensive for the volume.

This place is conveniently located, and atmosphere inside is nice. The plates I got for breakfast were tasty, no complaints. I don’t rate it higher because of some ridiculous policy they have about charging 20% for parties of 5 or more. I went there with 6 friends for breakfast and wasted $142 in food, but ended up paying $195 with taxes and “gratuity”.

The food was good, and the staff were super nice. We got the burger, the patty was tasty, some onion and lettuce and tomatoes would have made the burger superb (the burger didn’t come with those for some reason, just the patty and cheese).

Ate dinner and breakfast twice. Food was above average but the best part was the service. Xavier and Hartley are outstanding. Always made us feel welcome. Good recommendations offered and remembered our names. The menu below does not reflect what is currently offered. We did not find the prices much more expensive than other locations nearby.

This is one of the worst service experiences I’ve had in a long time. Myself and four other coworkers went there for lunch during burger week because there was a deal from the Stranger (advertised as $10 cowboy smash burger). The place was rather empty when we arrived but we sat for 20 minutes before we asked the host where the server was. We were ready to order when she came. She was very nice but only checked on us once more in the over hour we sat there. We waited for almost a full hour before our food finally came, and that was after asking multiple times. We had to eat and run because some had work meetings. Also another server came back and said they didn’t have the burger we ordered, and that was only for happy hour. I told her I was just ordering what it said on the burger week advertisement, showed her the article and that it was served for lunch. She gruffly apologized and made it. Weird she didn’t know about this. The food was really good so if they could improve service and internal communication it would be much better.

Friends had recommended this place. Said it was nice and casual. Decided to take a work colleague here to try it out. Really great experience. We sat outside on the back patio. Nice and quiet. Service was great. They were friendly. Very accommodating with slight changes to what we ordered. Everything came out right. I had Chicken burger but swiss instead of feta. Definitely order the homemade chips and french onion dip as appetizer. Really great… I topped it off with chocolate shake. It was good but a bit small for the price… I’d definitely go back with a larger group of friends. Very casual.
