Outlaws BBQ always hits the spot. The food’s always good, no matter what time you go, and the service is just as solid. They’re always friendly and quick, and everything comes out hot and full of flavor. You really can’t go wrong eating here, they stay consistent every time.

Went through drive thru but they were prompt friendly at the window. The person taking the order seemed a little irritated but the food and the young man at the window made the experience better.

Not sure how this place gets good reviews. 3meat plate, brisket, chicken, rib, with potato salad & potato casserole. Brisket: good flavor, very dry, and 1/2 of it was inedible becoming more like chewing wet paper. Ribs: more juicy but undercooked. The collagen had not broken down, so it was very rubbery. Very little smoke. Chicken: By far the worst. Inedible. The breast was chewy, dry, and no flavor.
Service: The young man at the counter asked white or dark; I said dark, I even specified the thigh. The receipt said white. … I still tried it because even even poor BBQ places can have juicy white meat. This place failed miserably across the board. The lot is full, lots of past positive reviews (mostly years old), but makes me think people just think this is what “good BBQ” is. Sad. Last pic is how I left. Wasted $23. Reviewed this so I know never to come back here.
*** The sarcasm in your reply is a perfect example of the poor quality and not caring about the food or service you offer to ppl. As far as the ‘best’? One can at least finish choking down a plate of gas station BBQ. Honestly, I couldn’t even do that there.

Was passing through Louisiana and decided to try this place. Reasonable prices, delicious food and good service. I recommend the sliced brisket, ham, and ribs. My son enjoyed the burger and my daughter liked the brisket philly po boy.

Outlaws BBQ is hands down my wife and I’s favorite BBQ spot in Louisiana. The service is always great, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is unreal.
Their baked potatoes are incredible, and my go-to every time is the sliced brisket. It’s genuinely mind boggling how good it is. If you dine in, the atmosphere is perfect too. Comfortable, welcoming, and just a great place to eat.
Highly recommend.

We are regulars at Outlaws. Prior to today, we’ve never had an issue. I went inside to order our take out, I thought it would be faster. I placed my order, they were NOT busy and I sat down to wait. There was A LOT of playing by everyone (employees) but the kitchen staff (cooks).
After waiting forever, no one ever approached me about the long wait for my order while they all huddled together talking. When I finally got aggravated and asked about my order, it was ready, bagged and sitting on the counter! No one said sorry for the wait or even acknowledged I had been sitting there for quite some time while my order was turning cold.
Very disappointed and won’t be back for awhile. Considering all the businesses closing in Alexandria, y’all might want to focus on your customers more than playing around & gossiping while on the clock!

I ordered 1 burger in the drive thru at 1:56. After pulling up to wait and 6 vehicles went behind me and all received their orders, I went inside. Roshonda was extremely courteous and the manager, Leanne did make sure my burger was freshly made. However, it took a total of 22 minutes to get one burger in the middle of the afternoon. Just make sure you aren’t in ANY hurry to eat when coming to this location.

Good location. Place is spacious if got a large party. Vibes are cool and design is cozy. Service is fast and staff have been nice. It’s help yourself so you safe the tip, nevertheless staff brought me my dish (probably it wasn’t busy that time). Cajun fries were good, coleslaw was not the best, chicken sandwich was delicious but I was under impression it’s smoked! I didn’t taste smoky flavor! Prices are very reasonable. Will come back to try other stuff.

Met some friends here for lunch while in town and ordered a chicken baked potato. The chicken was like jerky and so dried out. My husband got the chopped brisket potato and it was so finely chopped it was like ground beef. Flavor was good but we were not impressed with the quality of the meat.

I would say ratio 5 to 10 range. There have problem on cold meat in my plates. Brisket meat had lot of fatty and little hard to chew. Side order is good but still cold. I had enjoyed to look many picture on wall and more easy to order by list. I should pick potato spud with bbq meats first place.
