I stopped by Outback at Grand Parkway 99 & Kuykendahl Road with my daughter for a valentine’s dinner….ahhhh.
We ordered the Bloomin Onion appetizer & for entrees Filet Mignon, Lobster baked potato & Salmon, and mashed potatoes.
The Filet, Lobster and Salmon were Awasome with great service!
We highly recommend for a great dinner anytime!

Our dinner here was the best resteraunt experience that my family has enjoyed in the 6 years I have been in this area. Every single thing that they served us was top notch. The steak was perfect, the lobster, the potatoes – I really felt like a dinner like that should have cost a lot more. The staff was excellent – I even remember there names – Jacob served us and the manager Scott really wanted to make us feel comfortable, we felt like honored guests or something. This was for my 50th Birthday and I am so glad that we tried this place. Both wife and son want to go there on there respective birthdays, now too, so that’s awesome! I had the steak – medium- and lobster.
I took a picture of my wifes burger, because it looked exactly liek the picture – how often does that happen?
Thanks Outback, best birthday dinner that I could have wished for!

Food is excellent:

Beth was great (the manager), and Vladimir was wonderful as well (our waiter).

Everything from the appetizers, to the salad, and the main course came out quickly, and was delicious.

The salads are amazing as the picture shows.

Tonight was a wonderful experience with Adrain our server. He was patient, kind, and make sure our order was not only hot but delivered in a timely manner. Most definitely will be back to see him again. The manager Scott was also great he came by to make sure our food was hot and good!

– My food was amazing even tho it was simple. However what really made this experience great was the service that I had gotten especially from the host.

She greeted me with a genuine smile, was incredibly attentive without being overbearing, and handled everything with professionalism and grace. Her ability to manage the front of house with ease, even during busy hours, shows a level of dedication and poise that’s hard to find. It was my first time at this restaurant. At the beginning the host seemed to be there just because he gets paid. Not a good welcome in. Then, our waiter came to the table and he offered a great service. He was very attentive. Manager came around just to see if everything was good. That is a plus. Food was delicious, I really enjoyed my meal. About the drinks I’ll say they need an update. I got the boomerang and in my opinion all 4 cocktails were way too sweet. Definitely it’s a great place to have a good meal but without cocktails. I almost forget, their bread they bring at the beginning was delicious.

I certainly do not want to rain on their parade as they have seemed to have had great reviews. My experience was just the opposite. However I do want to say this is probably the worst time to go to any restaurant on New Year’s Eve during their rush hour. I made reservations 10-12 days ahead of time and told them I would be celebrating 50 years of marriage. When we arrive the receptionist could not find the reservation and or it did not seems to be of importance to her. She sat us at a very small table that we could hardly fit in. Other couples came after us and she seated them at much larger tables, so we asked to be moved. When she moved us she did not give us the menus, so we had to go back to the front and ask for them. The server finally came and took our order. My wife ordered a glass of water…they brought her a non-sweet tea. we asked for Blooming Onion which is our favorite. It came and was way over cooked, slight burnt we could not eat it. We asked for additional sauce to mask the burnt portions and it never came. We asked for additional bread it never came. I asked for a refill on my sweet tea it finally arrived but it was unsweet. I stopped a server and asked if he could take a picture of me and my wife, he abruptly said he did not have the time. My Bone-in Ribeye was over cooked burnt in spots. The broccoli was as hard as a rock I had a hard time trying to cut it. Even though we had a horrible experience I would still go back to Outback as it is over-all a good restaurant. We spent our 49th anniversary at the Outback in Humble, Texas which has closed down and the experience was just the opposite. The people their really treated us nice and the food was excellent. Like I said earlier this was a one time experience with Outback and not intended to bashed them. Wrong Time and wrong night I guess. Ruined 50 Wedding Anniversary celebration.
