If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst bourbon chicken I’ve ever seen and tasted. They absolutely do not have bourbon chicken look at my pictures. Bourbon chicken is bite-sized chicken pieces in a sweet, savory, and tangy glaze made with bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger, often thickened. The rice has no taste whatsoever. Bland!!! Orange chicken tasted rotten. Will never buy again!

Terrible!! Terrible!! It must certainly fell off n not worth it anymore! I ordered shrimp fried rice n 2 eggs rolls, still had to wait n it took me 22mins to get there. I get home to the container being drenched in grease n so is the bag! Why!?? Nope, I’m most definitely giving up on this place. They close down the dinning n it’s time to close down for good!! I wish can add a picture to this review.

Liang’s Garden Restaurant perfectly emulates the essence of Supreme Quality. I have always enjoyed Asian cuisine, however not every Asian restaurant is made equal. Some of them do not have a single person of Asian descent working on staff, thus it is easily noticeable. You can not have a bunch of Cubans, making Cantonese cuisine, and expect everything, to be authenticly tasting. There is nothing racist about it, it is all about culture, and being genetically predisposed, to certain methods of madness.

I first tried Liang’s Garden Restaurant around the Covid Shut down. I am actually surprised, it took me so long, for me to finally eat here. I grew up not far from this area. I used to work out at the now closed LA Fitness, down the Street. I believe it is due to people’s loyalty to good Chinese Restaurants. I used to eat at one, in Homewood called Golden Buddha. This location is the closest to matching their amazing flavor. Ever since I started eating here, they are always a top option, if I don’t feel like cooking.

What really makes Liang’s Garden Restaurant special, is not just the high quality of the taste, but the abundance of theportions they give. I am a big guy, and I can eat a lot. However, I can never finish an entire dinner plate from Liang’s, in one sitting. I ordered Mongolian Chicken last night, and the chicken was not dry at all, it was sweet and juicy. In addition, there are other details, that highlights Liang’s dedication, to customers satisfaction. For example, this is the only Chinese restaurant, that I have ordered from, that does not charge extra, for having Shrimp Fried Rice, with the lunch and dinner specials. I have been to a significant number of Oriental Restaurants, and I can say without a doubt, this is the ONLY ONE that does not charge extra. It is originally offered with the meal. All the other restaurants, originally offer pork or beef fried rice, but then charge extra for the shrimp, because they know, that is what everyone wants. It is little things like that, that puts them above others.

Liang’s Garden Restaurant is a beautiful building and has a nice Zen ambiance inside. The only somewhat constructive criticism I have is, I wish they would eventually open up, the dine in option. I would love to sit down and have a meal. I can imagine, it was shut down, due to Covid. There are many businesses, that did not survive all that chaos. However places like Liang’s Garden Restaurant, will never fold. It is due to their understanding, of placing Quality over everything else. That is how you build a loyal customer base, that will fight hard, to keep everything operational, so their favorite businesses do not close. Thank you very much.

I’m not sure if the chef has changed, but this used to be one of the best places to get Chinese food. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. The beef and broccoli was undercooked the broccoli was still very hard, and the beef didn’t seem fully cooked. It also lacked the usual brown sauce that normally brings the dish together. I hope this was just an off day, because this place has always been great in the past.

Liang’s has been my go to chines restaurant for many years. Today I have to say that I am VERY disappointed. I ordered combination fried rice, chicken and broccoli shrimp egg foo young, and two egg rolls. Everything was disgusting except for the egg rolls. That was the only thing that I could eat. I am so disappointed that I spent $40 on this food just to be able to eat the egg rolls. I am never going back again. I will just stick to chens in Tinley Park from now on because they never disappoint.

Liang’s Garden Restaurant has a huge dine-in area, but it’s unfortunate that they apparently use most of it for storage, which is a real shame. This isn’t mentioned on Google or their website, and it seems to be a continued practice that possibly started during the pandemic.
The food is okay; it’s standard, basic American Chinese cuisine. It won’t blow you away, but it’s consistent and gets the job done for a quick, no-frills meal.
Ultimately, this spot is mainly set up for takeout or delivery, not for a sit-down dining experience. The dining room situation is a big drawback if you were hoping for a nice sit-down meal, so plan accordingly and stick to ordering online or calling ahead for carryout.

The lady who answered the phone to take my order was very rude and hung up when I tried to give her my Visa card number over the phone for delivery payment. My order was late to arrive. I ordered the Singapore noodles and vegetable egg foo young. There was no flavor or a kick to the Singapore noodles as it usually was in the past. I had to add my own extra curry and red pepper flakes. I requested hot mustard packs and they forgot them. When I called up to the restaurant she brushed me off and said well I did not charge you for them so it’s ok. I tipped them but I will not order here again.

Your food is good but your service is bad. You really should consider getting on Uber eats, doordash,or grubhub because you’re always too busy to deliver and your phones are always busy and nobody can get through. This is a sure way to lose business because it’s always something.

I ordered delivery on a friday. Instead of just saying they were too busy for deliveries. It took OVER two hours for me to get my food. After calling twice, the lady was extremely rude on the phone. I like their food. But their customer service is horrible. Dont take deliveries on friday, if you can’t handle the volume.
