Not usually a fan of a chain steakhouse.
I will say I was pleasantly surprised with the porterhouse the other night. It was cooked perfectly, medium rare.
I even tried dessert!
Service was great. I’d definitely eat here again when in town.

Nice place great service. I would suggest to order your steak a little under cooked like if you like
medium steak order it medium rare and you will be happy! Everything else is as expected from an outback steakhouse.

Last week, i went to outback with my family to celebrate my birthday a little early. Every year, i always choose outback because i love to eat steak and it’s one of the only times of the year i get to eat it. So needless to say, i was looking forward to going. Not to mention, my grandmother had died two days prior and it was something positive i had been looking forward to to get out of the house and do something nice. However, i am *so* disappointed in the visit. I asked for my steak to be well done and it came raw. I pushed past my anxiety and spoke up to request it be cooked more. When asked how i wanted it, i reiterated i wanted it well done. The second time i got it, it was medium rare. It was bleeding when i cut into it to check. The inside was still *very* pink. I sent it back again, and for the third time, i requested well done. By that point, i felt done with the whole experience. The server sent a manager over to the table and the manager acted like she didn’t give one care at all about the situation. She had zero empathy. It was like speaking to a piece of drywall. When the steak came back the third and last time, it was in a to go container. I peeked at it, decided i just wanted to go home, and we paid and left. When we got to the house, i went to eat it, and not only had they cooked it, but they had cooked it way too much. It was charred. Burnt. Completely inedible. I threw the whole thing away. The Lebanon location has been noticeably going downhill for the last several years. I don’t think i’ll be going back.

Me and family went here Saturday
( February 28th around 5ish) for my little sisters birthday dinner. She ordered a steak well done, and me and my children ordered ours medium well. Her steak came out completely raw like it never touched a grill or skillet. The waitress looked like she was annoyed that we even asked about it. She took it back. Me and my children cut into ours and the inside was blood red. We ended up not even eating ours just our sides. Didn’t want to bother the waitress again because she seemed already annoyed that we asked about my sisters plus it was her birthday and I didn’t want to make it a big deal. They finally brought her another streak out and she cut into it and it was exactly the same as ours. Not well done! So they took it back again. By the time they brought it out for the third time we were ready to go. Me and my children’s meals costed $120.00 dollars for steaks we didn’t even eat because they weren’t done all we ate were the sides! We got back to my sisters house and she opened her to go box and the final steak they brought her they burnt it to a a crisp like a piece of charcoal. Needless to say we will not be eating here again. Never expected the food or the service to be as bad as it was.

We’re not fans of chain restaurants but had a good experience tonight. Our food was served fast, and hot. Steaks cooked how we like it, just lacked a little bit of salt on the mashed potatoes.
Our server Lucky was very nice and polite too.

Bloomin chicken breast, Steamed Broccoli, Baked Sweet Potato. Excellent!
Chicken was fried perfectly crisp. Broccoli was steamed to perfection with some type of seasoning. Baked potato was soft and delicious. I wanted to try dessert but was too full. Next time I am in the area, we’ll definitely visit again.

Our family usually goes to the Cookeville location, but we decided to eat here on a Sunday afternoon. As soon as we walked in, the feeling wasn’t great. The hostess stand look unhappy to see another group come in. (Be aware it wasn’t overly packed when we arrived.) As soon as we were seated we immediately noticed our plates were dirty, not just they missed a spot. No these were crusty. Our waitress was already annoyed when we asked for new plates. While we waited for these we looked at our menus. They were also dirty, with many food splatters on them, and our table appeared greasy. At this point we began to loose our appetites. Unable to decide what to order based off of what we were already seeing, we just had our drinks and bread come out. We decided it best to leave, but we were willing to pay for whatever was needed. Even though we didn’t eat our bread and only 1 drink was touched. Our waitress had the manager come out to speak to us. He was very nice and after requesting, was willing to not make us pay for something we didn’t eat. Sadly, we will not be back at this location again in the near future.

The team there did an amazing job handling the winter storm. I was a walk-in ToGo order, and they took my order without issue and were very patient explaining the limited menu they had to work with. Despite the high stress situation, no one was anything else besides courteous and understanding. The food was made perfectly as ordered. Truly appreciate the work the team does and what it meant for us to have a hot meal.

Came for dinner late tonight, with less than one hour until closing time. With the sub-freezing temps and icy roads, I thought they might have closed early. However, I was greeted very warmly and seated promptly. My waiter was fantastic; courteous, helpful, and professional. It’s been a decade since I’ve dined at outback, and I had questions about the menu. Even with my questions, I did not feel rushed to order or to finish my meal. The food came out hot and quickly, although there were only a few patrons. I’m glad I dined in tonight. I wanted a hot meal that I did not have to cook myself after being locked in the house for the past week. The service tonight exceeded my expectations.

We went as a table of 4 on Valentine’s Day and sat on the wall where the exit door and the bathrooms were and the steak was extremely rare when asked for medium well when asked to cook it again they took it back and 20 minutes later the steak was re-cooked and at first glance it looked good but as my boyfriend cut it a crap ton of blood just came gushing out. also had to wait an hour and a half just for food. The server never came to check on us just randomly dropped off new drinks when ours were not even half way full (9 cups on the table when we left) At the end when we paid she just threw the check on the table after we asked for the steak to be taken off and had a lot of attitude. Also the men’s restroom smelt absolutely awful. I’m sure she was stressed I’ve worked in a sit down restaurant and Valentine’s Day sucks because it’s so busy but as a server your job is to have good customer service and that was just not there.
