This was my first time visiting this location and the staff was extremely rude. The lady Maria with the glasses clearly has a problem with people. I wont be going back. Ms Maria please learn how to deal with all customers of every race not just your own race. I think its very rudimentary. As I patiently waited on my food I watched your interactions and it was very dishearting to see. Otto’s please do better with staff selection especially in a corporate building setting. Thank You!

Stopped in at Otto,’s for the first time. I purchased the brisket tacos. Unfortunately, this is not brisket. Very much pot roast.

I am only rating the breakfast at this restaurant. I have been eating the breakfast tacos for many years and I would say it’s the best taco in town for my needs. The tacos are generously filled with eggs and are fresh cooked. They also use freshly cracked eggs rather than eggs from a carton. The amazing thing is how quickly we they make your meal. Also, the salsa is a must if you like spicy sauce.

I’ve gotten lunch from Otto’s twice and was disappointed both times. The bbq beef baked potato had very little chopped beef, the bbq sauce tastes like tomato sauce. The chopped salad had wilted greens and was drenched in dressing and vinegar.

McDonald’s has a better burger than here. This place depends on topings to make a good burger. There is a lot left to be desired after trying there burgers here, so do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

I used to come here quite often because the BBQ was decent and reasonably priced for what you got. Then I felt like it was going down hill so I stopped going for a while. Today I tried it again and it was absolutely horrible. I ordered a chopped beef sandwich and when I got back to my office and opened it up, it was a sliced beef sandwich cut with the grain of the brisket. The brisket tasted awful – like it was not safe to eat. Luckily, I got some chips along with my sandwich. Nothing like spending $13 on something you wouldn’t feed to a starving dog. My lunch went straight into the trash. I won’t be back. So disappointed.

This is pretty decent on the go BBQ for downtown Houston. Would recommend the burgers here. Besides fries, the dirty rice is good. Do not bother with the breakfast; its bland and not worth the price with better options all around.
