I have now been to the Ottoman Turkish Grill multiple times, each time trying something different and everything so far has been great! The portions continue to be large and well cooked. There are still soo many items I need to try. I highly recommend the beef doner sandwich, it was amazing. So much beef and it was really good. I also highly recommend the Yogurtlu Sadrazam, it is creamy and the mix of flavors go really well together. I am also glad to see the entrance door has been reworked, the strong breeze from the doors was unnoticeable, really good move. The only thing I would suggest is that tables 1 and 2 be move a bit to give more space for people coming in and out of the restaurant. It wasn’t a problem though. I will keep coming back because the food is great, the service is good, the staff is friendly. The restaurant continues to be packed whenever we go. We tried to make reservations once using the number from their website but when we called the person who answered said they don’t take reservations, so that was a bit confusing.
Saw a few tiktoks of this place and wanted to try it out. Went here on a Saturday night and was able to get a table quickly. The staff were good and cleaned the table before we sat. It was not completely filled as about 40% of the tables were empty. We sat close to the entrance and it was a cold night. When the doors opened when people came or went a strong cold breeze could be felt and sometimes the door would stick open. The atmosphere; there are bright lights in the restaurant which does not make it very cozy and there is not much privacy between tables. After we ordered the food came out nice and fast. The portions were nice and large and we weren’t able to finish everything.
When we got our food containers to pack our food to take home the server offered us two different sauces, they were really good and I was disappointed afterward that i didn’t get these with my meal. It was a good experience and I will definitely go back, but i did not like the cold breeze and bright lights.
I tried a takeout meal here and am blown away by the flavours, the serving size, their reasonable prices and the lovely staff. Lamees and Rami were very sweet and caring and they were consistently wonderful to everyone in the restaurant! The key here is consistency.
I am very particular with my food, so I’m excited that I found a place near heartland that I can depend on to satiate my taste buds.
This place is clean and cozy. Can’t wait to try their dine-in experience with family and friends.
The menu offers great variety of authentic and creative Turkish dishes. We started our dinner with “Mixed Meze Plate”, which is served with freshly baked bread and great for sharing.
For main, we ordered “Beyti Sarma Kebab”, “Baba Ghanoush Kebab”, “Hot Kuzu Sizzling Plate”, “Etli Ekmek Pide”, “Mix Doner Sandwich” and “Chicken Adana Kebab Sandwich”. Every dish was served with juicy and tender lamb/beef/chicken. I loved Baba Ghanoush Kebab as it’s the combination of two of my favourites: Baba Ghanoush and Lamb Shish. Hot Kuzu Sizzling is definitely worth the calories as you can have lamb chops and lamb shish in one serving. Doner sandwich and Chicken Adana Kebab Sandwich are generous portions of meat and great combination of meat with toppings and special sauces; great for sharing.
And of course no dinner is complete without having Turkish dessert. We finished our meal with delicious and creamy “Triliece”, paired with Turkish coffee and Turkish Tea.
The bread is absolutely amazing and really something that’s as good as it looks in the picture! As well their lentil soup was really quite delicious, I have to hand it to them. The meat was ok, left a little bit to be desired, but not bad.
Service was ok, the place seems new and the staff was just learning their menu and selection with little room for asking too many questions.
Prices were pretty decent.
I had a great experience at Ottoman Turkish Grill! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The restaurant has a really nice vibe that makes it perfect for going out with friends, family, or even for a casual dinner.
The food was honestly amazing. Everything tasted fresh and authentic, and you can tell a lot of care goes into how the dishes are prepared. The grilled meats were juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. The portions were also very generous, so you definitely get good value for your money. The sides and sauces complemented the dishes really well and added even more flavor to the meal.
Another thing that stood out was the service. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the whole visit. They were quick to help and made the overall experience even better.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Ottoman Turkish Grill to anyone looking for delicious Turkish food and a great dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back again
We visited Ottoman Turkish Grill in Mississauga for the first time as a group of five on a Saturday evening. Surprisingly, it wasn’t crowded, and we were seated right away. They even let us choose our preferred table, which was a nice touch.
Our server, Zainab, was fantastic. She was cheerful, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. From the moment we sat down to the time we left, she took care of us with a big smile and made sure everything was smooth. Honestly, all the staff seemed friendly and easy to talk to, which made the whole experience even better.
We went with their recommendations and ordered the mixed appetizer plate, mixed grill, and a pida with beef and chicken. The food came with 5 or 6 pieces of complimentary bread, which was great. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The only thing we all noticed was that the Beef Adana Kebab was a bit dry, probably because it was made with very lean meat. Not a dealbreaker, just something to note.
What really stood out was the portion sizes. They were generous, way more than we expected. Looking at the menu prices alone doesn’t give you the full picture. Once the food arrives, you realize the value is actually very fair. So don’t let the prices throw you off, they make sense once you see what you’re getting.
To top it off, we were served complimentary Turkish black tea and baklava. Both were good and wrapped up the meal nicely. We also appreciated that there’s no service charge for groups under eight, which felt fair and transparent.
Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed everything. We’d definitely recommend Ottoman Turkish Grill and look forward to going back soon.
