A Culinary Gem Worth Discovering

We visited this Italian restaurant for the first time and were absolutely blown away. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, and the open kitchen added a unique touch—watching the chefs prepare each dish right in front of us was both mesmerizing and reassuring. The transparency in their cooking process speaks volumes about their pride and integrity.

Now, the food… simply extraordinary.

I had a smoked eggplant dish layered with melted cheese and rich tomato sauce—it was heavenly, with a depth of flavor that lingered beautifully. Others in our group enjoyed a sizzling hot steak, pasta with incredibly fresh lobster, and branzino that was cooked to perfection—delicate, flavorful, and unforgettable.

To top it off, the chef surprised us with complimentary bites: crispy calamari paired with zucchini fries, and pillowy gnocchi smothered in a luscious cheese sauce. Every bite was a celebration of taste and texture.

This place is a true standout—authentic, generous, and passionately crafted. We’ll definitely be back.

Good solid Italian. Space is not too big but they have an outside patio too. They do not make cocktails – they have only spritz aperol and one more I don’t remember. A lot of American wine per glass. We had Cesar salad, eggplant dish, caccio e Pepe pasta (they make in a cheese wheel) & Dover sole.

I had an exquisite experience here in this warm and inviting space. The chef made me a superb vegan tofu dish in a sweet potato puree, with mushrooms and artichokes, along with an asparagus soup and salad. The manager and maître d Jean was delightful, attentive, warm and welcoming. What a delightful evening we had.

Finally decided to try this restaurant and what a great surprise!

The place is cozy, not that big with an open kitchen. You can see the chef and the team. There are some seats outside and few options at the bar.

There are various wine options and some spritz and beers.
I have only tried a few things from the menu: the crispy brussels sprouts that I really enjoyed.
For my entrée, I decide to go with their popular Cacio e pepe. They come to the table and start doing final preparation in the cheese. The pasta were delicious. Cooked perfectly. I truly enjoyed it. Saw some other plates that looked very good – like some of meat ones.

Other starters did look good and I will have to try it next time.

For the dessert, we got the lava cake and panacotta. It was great as well.

You might not see this place by just passing by, but I strongly recommend for you to try it if you are looking for a nice Italian spot. The whole team there was extremely kind and nice. They really make you feel welcome, and they take the time to come and chat with you, which is very enjoyable.

Thank you, and we will be back!

Had a lunch meeting here and the vibe was just right. My llate portion was just a little to small but other than that the food was great. Customer service was great. One to two More scoop of pasta and this place would be a 5 star for me.

Delicious! Loved every dish at this new spot in Brentwood. Host was gracious and gave us some background on the restaurant and advised on wine and order. Radicchio salad was a highlight as was the pea ravioli!

Impeccable service, amazing dishes, great wine list, will be chasing this feeling for years to come!

Found this little place on a whim and what an absolute gem of a spot. Close to The Getty, somehow classy and upscale without being stuffy, very fast service despite a full house.

Valet was clearly the better option but there is parking on street.

10/10 will be back. Thanks guys!!

At this small, neighborhood restaurant, pasta is the star of the show. If you can, get the black truffle gnocchi, which features large, decadent pillows full of cheese and truffle, and the cacio e Pepe, which is made table side in a cheese wheel. (I’d recommend skipping the bolognese.)

I had the pleasure of dining here last night, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious! I started with the “Crudo di Hamachi,” which was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. For my main course, I enjoyed the “Wild Boar Ragu Pasta,” one of their specials, and it was nothing short of perfection — rich, hearty, and full of flavor.

A big thank you to Chef Nicola for the exceptional dishes and to Natalie and Jean for their excellent service and spot-on recommendations. Their warmth and attentiveness made the night even more memorable. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
