Visited on a Saturday night and it was mildly busy. We had a reservation. The server’s “don’t be intimidated by the big Italian words on the menu” talk was perceived as condescending. I think she meant well.

We stopped in for a cocktail after dinner and while the cocktails and service were acceptable there was one major problem. While I appreciate the efforts to minimize the use of plastic the bar only has straw made from wheat blades. Cool idea but they didn’t even ask before putting them into our drinks. As someone who is allergic to wheat and was with someone who has celiac, this is a huge concern. The bartender was unaware that straws were wheat or that they could cause an allergic reaction in someone.

We arrived for our reservation early. They had no issue seating us quickly. We sat inches from the guests next to us. We waited for approximately 10 minutes before anyone greeted us at our table. The employees seemed inexperienced and awkward. They have 5 wines to order by the glass and they start at $11 and go to $16 a glass. My other half tried the Sangiovese and it was no good. They do not offer a house wine. I tried the dark wing duck: a lavender, gin and lemon bitter with a foamy egg white topping. I would suggest it. The style of the restaurant itself seemed generic and confused. Much like a noodles and co. There wasn’t much to tie into the “MOTO” theme besides a couple shiny helmets at the front and random tool boxes for work stations. The food tasted great. The Parmesan chicken was cooked perfectly, the meat wasn’t dry and the broccoli was great. The bolognese were fresh and tasted great as well. The chef did a great job. I will say, the prices are too high but they can get away with it in this area. Will it last though? We will see!

Food is unique and delicious. The atmosphere is modern with a lot of open space and natural light. The service is slow. Took 20 mins to get bread. Restaurant just opened so they have some tuning up to do.

Stopped in about a month ago for the new brunch. There’s a lot of great food in the area, and to me, they measured up completely. I think it would be great if they could expand on the menu a little bit because it seems like everything I tried was outstanding. My only recommendation would be to do a little less milk in the cappuccinos/lattes. The ratio seemed a bit off. This restaurant will do great for brunch if they keep up the good work and expand the menu just a bit further.

Great place. Awesome upscale but casual vibe. The servers were prompt and very knowledgeable. You have to try the carrot appetizer. Never had grilled carrots that good…ever. there pasta is amazing. You can taste the quality in the pasta noodle. It’s doesn’t have that plasticky, awkward taste that most pasta has to me. The noodles were cooked to PERFECTION. Soft but firm. I had the short rib agnolotti which is amazing. Definitely worth a try.

Little rough to start as they seem still to be training staff which I’m sure will get better. I ordered the campenelle and it was fantastic! So much flavor with the lemon, fennel, salty sausage, and chewy pasta. It went perfect with their salted bread. Not a big fan of the farm chairs but the giant bar remains. I’m deducting a star because no happy hour, but that could change! I’ll be back to try the Nero spaghetti and cocktails!

The in house pasta is amazing! The Octopus appetizer was really good, melt in your mouth tender not chewy at all. The Chicken Parmigiana was moist with a crispy crust and not greasy, probably one of the best I have ever had. By far the best Italian in the El Dorado Hills / Folsom area!

This is my new favourite restaurant. We sat outside and started with a handmade cocktail and a tall glass of fresh pineapple juice. Then we had the halibut and the spaghetti and meatballs. The halibut was fresh, perfectly cooked, with some special roasted potatoes, chili slices, fresh mint leaves, and edible flowers. Perfect dish for health conscious individuals. Maggie ate it all! My spaghetti was incredible. Fresh, homemade noodles like I have never had. They spaghetti is thick and plump, yet some and resilient. The sauce was sweet and pleasant with fresh basil leaves. No parmesan needed. And the meatballs ate simply excellent. Meaty, flavorful, and a nice size. Three meatballs filled me up with that awesome sauce. Couple things I have to add. The tiramisu is huge, fluffy, and has a delicious course powdered chocolate on top. And the service was excellent. Everyone that works here seems to like what they are doing and are conscientious. We sat outside watching the people walk by and play with their kids and dogs. Great location. And one more thing to add…this restaurant does not break the bank. Highly recommend!
