Excellent anniversary dinner! Swordfish special and prime rib excellent! Our server, Drew, was attentive and timing for the courses was perfect. We even brought our seven year daughter old who enjoyed a Shirley temple and a bowl of homemade mac n cheese. Ambience was cozy with the fireplace going and beachy location down at shore. We highly recommend Oscar’s for any occasion!

One of the best meals I’ve had in a while. The food is freshly cooked and delicious. I ordered the fish tacos and a lobster roll. AMAZING.
Solid beer selection. The decor is very cute, stucco walls and beachy ship lap ceiling accents. It’s actually in what used to be a Mexican restaurant. Very unique.

Wine glass served with lip stick and old red wine!!! I was having white!!! How do you miss how frank it was!!! I ordered dinner, folks around me did as well they got linen place mat and coaster for their drink and meal… Trying to get the bartenders attention was impossible unless your a friend or a regular!! Good was fair lobster roll skimpy for the price as well as the fries!!! For the price go down the street to Oyster River Tavern or Seven Seas. Then let’s talk noise!!! End of story

Recently I had an off-site Birthday Party catered by Oscars. It was completely effortless on my end. They created a spectacular menu of my own desire, and trucked it over to the venue in perfect timing. The whole party is still raving about 1.) the food and 2.) the amazing presentation.

The food can be ok, but the service is absolutely horrible. We’ve given it a try several times and it’s always been awful. Either it’s an hour wait for the food, the food is disgustingly oversalted or cold, the waitstaff is undertrained… I could go on. One of the bartenders (used to work at Scribner’s) is rude and just generally unpleasant. I would definitely NOT recommend going.
