I decide to try this place bc their reviews were. I walked young who prepping or making drinks, told me to sit wherever. I sat by the window and another server came over and asked of I wanted a drink.I said a Pepsi and he was quick with it; chips, salsa and my drink. To be honest, I came for the pupusa. They only had one kind left so I ordered the revuelta. I.honesyly thought that it was going to Come out with curtido and salsa de tomate. It came out with pico de Gallo and sort of tomato sauce. I also ordered a carnitas burrito and it was alright

New Mexican restaurant with Salvadorian influences in the old Dos wapos location. The interiors have been nicely spruced up and brightened. This place smells better . We got tamales, tacos, chips and salsa (complementary), guacamole and chips, pupusa (Sundays only), kids beef burrito, ice cream nachos and a michelada!!! Everything was top notch, tasted fresh and flavorful.
Next time I’m going to get the chicken tortilla soup and fajita. They smelt really good, but we had already ordered.

Entrees were exceptional. Chips were stale. Service was slow. Sopapillas had chocolate syrup and sprinkles? Overall, a big improvement on the last team in this space. If they dial in the execution this could be a new local favorite.

So glad Valles moved into the old Dos Wapos location. Interior has been refreshed. Servers were friendly and prompt. Food was solid – all of our dishes were tasty. Good GF options – our server was knowledgeable about which menu items to avoid due to cross contamination. Prices were great. I will go back and try their Sunday papusas, for sure!

This would’ve been a 3 Star review if not for our server being awesome. Drove 45 minutes, because online this place had the best pupusas in town. Arrived only to be told they don’t even serve pupusas as of two weeks ago. Highly disappointing!

Based on the good reviews we headed out to Valles tonight for dinner and it was a FAIL. The place was pretty empty and the kind server/host told us we could sit wherever we wanted. We chose a booth before realizing that the drink menu on the table was dripping wet and across from the booth was a small table with cleaning supplies on it. Like another review mentioned the (free) chips were stale and the salsa had strange chunks in it. Not a good start. We ordered house margaritas …they came quickly but were watery, warm and had a strange note of vanilla. When we said we were ready to order the server hesitated and then told us it would be “a while” because there were some big to-go orders and another big table. After being told it might be 25-30 minutes or more….we decided to move on to Old Santa Fe which is a reliable standby.

I hate to give a one star review for a place that I haven’t physically visited, however, this experience was bad enough to be reviewed.
We made a simple (but expensive) GrubHub order of $100 which took longer than normal to arrive. That wasn’t the issue though, as we ended up getting someone else’s order.
We immediately reached out to the restaurant to get it rectified, and the person that answered was not helpful to say the least.
They basically offered no help, no credit, and no new delivery of our food. The driver blamed the restaurant when we spoke with her. The person on the phone said he couldn’t do anything. His English and communication skills were not good, but that does not excuse his unwillingness to help.
Obviously, this establishment doesn’t give two cents about customer service. GrubHub completely refunded our order after complaining to them. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone simply based on the way they treated their customer here. We won’t be ordering here again.
