I really enjoyed Osaka Sushi. I was pleasantly surprised with how the inside looked. The front door gives a very different impression from the inside. I was also very surprised with how much sushi Ingot for the price. It was good quality in my opinion and tasted great. I will definitely be going back. There banana brulee was okay, i did however get a big chunk of ice in the ice cream. I admittedly went a little crazy on my ordering. I could have ordered half as much as I did and been okay. I would suggest two rolls and maybe a nagiri.

One waitress was overstepping her boundaries and being way to flirtatious. It didn’t matter that the guy was married and with his wife. She just desperately kept trying to insert her presence into the mix. The food was overpriced and the sign on the door was very uninviting as well. I truly regret going here. We will not be back.

Being half Japanese, and raised in a Japanese kitchen, I was disappointed in the portion and professionalism. This is supposedly a California roll. Lol I’m glad I chose to try this place out alone and not be embarrassed in front of a guest.

I’ve always been able to look past the subpar service but honestly the sushi quality has significantly decreased that it’s not worth it anymore. Between the lack of freshness, mushy rice and uneven slices (see the pictured Mexican crunch rolls), we couldn’t finish what we ordered. Not to mention the sticky cups and complete lack of attention our table of two received from the servers as they mostly attended to the tables with a larger group. Which was odd because they appeared to be fully stuffed. Anyways, make the trek to the valley if you want decent service and sushi because Osaka ain’t it anymore.

I used to love this place but think it is really going down hill. Especially the last few times… All the signs in the place are on card board or receipt paper with scotch tape. They have lots of “rules”. Doesn’t look very clean. All the servers were standing in the back staring up front. No welcome as we entered. We tried to go have dinner tonight, just two of us, they asked if we had a reservation, we didn’t bc their rule on their front door on cardboard is “get a reservation with five or more”… and they had two open tables. They told us we needed to come back in 45 minutes. No thanks! That was kind of our last ditch effort to support the place.

Honestly I don’t ever leave reviews. We have been here lots before. We showed up with three kids and the restaurant was not very full. (The whole middle and booths were open) They refused to seat us. They said they had a reservation coming in and we couldn’t sit in a booth. Okay fine. Than she said we couldn’t sit at a table in the middle. She said she could put us on a text list but no garintee that they would get us in tonight. So freaking rude! We would of easily sat in the middle with the kids no big deal. What horrible service and so incredibly unprofessional.

We made reservations for 13. The waitress made a rude comment about us having 15 people when we said 13, but we didn’t count two toddlers since they would be on our laps and did not need seating. My sister drove an hour to be with us and her 2yo had fallen asleep on the drive. She held him at the table as he was still groggy. My husband held or sleepy 2yo as well. The waitress informs us that we are not allowed to hold our children, it is “policy”. I say that we are about to spend a ton of money here and in that case we will take our business elsewhere. She proceeds to call her manager on the phone and they tell her it is fine for us to have our kids on our lap. Never been treated like this before, won’t be back.

The sushi here has always been mediocre at best, but at least it was close to home. However, as their service and food quality continue to go down, their prices continue to increase. Wait staff would rather stand at the register gossiping than be attentive to customers, and, if you order anything other than sushi (edamame, miso soup, etc.) they “forget” to bring it to the table and still try to charge you for it. This has happened to me on multiple occasions, and they act quite surprised when I don’t want to pay for food I never ate. Also, it is not unusual to wait for an hour before getting any food, even when it’s slow. I have been there for over two hours on a busier day with staff acting as if that was totally normal. Today was the last straw for me. I came in with a party of four and were told, “We don’t have a table small enough for you,” despite having multiple tables unoccupied. Then, rather than giving us a wait time or putting our name on a list, we were told, “Maybe just come back in an hour or two and see if we have any space.” Ridiculous way to run a business, and I will not be back. I would not recommend this place to anyone no matter how much you enjoy sushi. For a short drive, you can get much higher quality sushi for less money, and it’s delivered to your table quickly and courteously.
