Stopped in for a late lunch on a Tuesday. The food was fresh, not the frozen that is found everywhere. The staff were friendly and attentive. They treated us like friends. We travel the state and always try to eat and support the local businesses. The restroom was clean and that says a lot about the establishment. We will stop in again when we are in the area.

Just good food and Fayetteville is the last small town. Had the small catfish plate and it was excellent as were the onion rings, mashed potatoes and iced tea. Great place to stop and walk around the square. We were there on a Saturday and it was perfect.

Decent small town cafe.
Burgers were good, bread could have been fresher but the paddies were tasty and the veggies were fresh.
Onion rings were better than average hand breaded not frozen which is always a plus.

We were so happy to get into a sit down restaurant after a long day if shopping in Warrenton. The staff were very nice and accommodated our larger group.
The salad bar was great! Lots of choices. We had a variety of food – ribeye steaks and seafood were pretty good. The chicken fried was not that great in the night we went. Could have been an off night… The 3 desserts we had were not great. We just picked the wrong ones I guess. The banana pudding was in a huge cup and had 3 vanilla wafers. 2 on top and 1 in the very middle of the cup. Just a cup of pudding basically.. Cobbler was more of a dump cake with crumbles on top. No one ate past 1 bite. Not worth the price.
On a good note, the mashed potatoes were excellent and the prices are very reasonable. We would definitely come again and try some different things. The staff was warm and friendly and that means a lot to us.

The Open sign was off, so we used what was in hindsight, the side door. Grand hand gestures welcomed us in. The menu is limited bc the cook is a curmudgeon. The food, very traditional breakfast items, was well prepared. We were the second group in the dining room. There are no strangers in Fayetteville, TX ! We had so much fun talking about life on the city square, the “limited menu & why”, heck, life in general on the town square. The Knick knack decorations are charming. We will go out of our way to visit this place again, & hope the curmudgeon is working that day. He really does what he does well !

Chicken Fried Steak was one of the best I have eaten with white gravy and onions. Green Beans were fresh and tender. Coconut pudding was very good. Pam who waited on us, was very informative and very nice.

First time here and it was hands down the best chicken fried steak ive had in a long time. Both white and brown gravys were perfect. Fried okra and mashed potatoes were amazing. The special of the day was pork chops, with black eyed peas, and, cornbread. For 6.50.. My uncle said that was delicious. Both came with a small slicd of pineapple upside down cake that was mouth watering. The service was fast and friendly. The decor is very cool and the lay out, makes you feel like you stepped back in time but with space to put your elbows out. I’ll definitely be back

I love Orsaks! Everything is very reasonably priced. Good news for vegans and vegetarians too because they just put a vegan patty on the burger menu! Their burgers are really delicious and the salad bar is tasty. I want a huge fan of the French fried steak with brown gravy. Next time, I’ll go for the chicken fried steak with white gravy.
