Nine Dragons Restaurant opened in Fargo on 13th Avenue South in the winter of 1978. We are a family owned, independent local establishment and we pride ourselves on having always hired and trained local employees. We are the oldest continually operating Asian restaurant in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
We have always offered dishes that are tasty, varied and cooked to your specifications. Our Chinese menu has a great emphasis on Szechwan dishes yet it still offers all the favorite Cantonese style standards. We also have a great selection of vegan and gluten-free items.
Call or come to see us. With our dine-in, drive thru, take out or delivery services, you are bound to find something to suit your needs.
Chinese dishes meet pizza & subs at this hybrid counter-serve eatery with fusion options all around.

Ordered delivery for 3. After fees and tip it was $80. Took an hour to get. My cashew shrimp was good, but I don’t know what I’m supposed to do with a grocery sack full of sauce. Not sauce packets…a literal plastic bag of sauce. There’s certainly not enough rice for it. Probably won’t be order from here again.

We ordered from here last night and I asked for our chicken strips to be a little extra done not burnt. My daughter liked them but I didn’t eat mine. The chicken strips and the Ranch have changed. Those were the two reasons I went there. The fries were good. We also got breadstick and they used to put garlic butter sauce on them but they didn’t and the breadsticks were dried out and gross.

The restaurant is clean and well kept. I ordered Mongolian beef, which they have but it’s not on their menu. It was a lot more onions than beef, but it was still pretty good, and it was a large serving with white rice for $19. The order was to go and it wasn’t fast getting out, took 15 to 20 minutes.

The food was absolutely terrible, the fried rice looked like it was cooked in a very dirty skillet, it looked greyish black. The beef and broccoli tasted like it was cooked in watery burger gristle. It was my first time trying, and it was overy over priced at $63 for two people. I don’t recommend, but I recommend people stay away.

Just ordered $100 worth of food… chicken fried rice barely has any chicken and DOES NOT come as a full order as the website states. The chicken curry is disgusting, slimey I didn’t even think it was chicken curry so I called and said there was a mistake with my order. A man yelled at me that this was how they made their chicken curry. Ok sir that’s the last hundo you will get from me! No wonder you can’t take out the MSG in their food, it’s the only way anyone would eat this canned veggie mush! GROSS!!!! There are way better places to eat in this saturated restaurant market! I tried to give them a chance to make it right and they just doubled down on this is the way it is. Cool. Got it. I should have read the reviews first. Live and learn.

We ordered chicken and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, cream cheese wontons, and an order of imperial rolls. The food itself was bland. They only gave a small order of white rice, total, for two meals. The sweet and sour chicken seemed to be the left over grizzle and fat deep fried. The cream cheese wontons were just a blob of cream cheese, not a mixture, on a wonton wrap deep fried. It was awful. The imperial rolls? They were pretty tasty actually. Overall there are much better places.

Went there with my friends and we had some of the worst Chinese food in Fargo. I don’t know how they have been open for 47 years. It was bland, watery, and the rice seemed like it was cooked on a filthy skillet.
Also extremely overpriced. $63 for my fiancé and I. Made us all feel sick and they would not refund.

This is a quick affordable place to dine in, carry out or drive up. Four adults ate for less than $50 with taking home part of the meals with their specials. The Crackling Triple Star has a little kick and you can order to your desired “heat”. The pork wontons were plump and yummy. They have a combo where you can choose 2 or 3 items. Huge menu selection.

I called regarding the fact that I had clumps of salt in my lomain that made it inedible, my sweet and sour chicken had zero flavor, and the fried wontons were all very undercooked. I was offered a $15 off my next order. This order was $40 and no one ate their food because no one was happy with how their food tasted. Super disappointed, considering I have always been a big fan of nine dragons and this is the first time it has ever been like this. Definitely not handled well.

9Dragons’ crispy duck is to die for, and they’ve easily got the best pizza crust in town. We’ve ordered both carryout and delivery recently, and got exactly what we wanted both times! I dunno where the other reviewers are comin’ from, but this place is legit. The shop is clean, staff were friendly, and the food delicious! I still think it’s lit you can get Chinese food and a pizza at the same place
