Stopped into the original Gino’s Pizza in Toledo and they did not disappoint. I grabbed a large veggie pizza with added bacon and a small double-cheese, and both were absolute fire. The pies were loaded, super heavy, and packed with flavor. You can tell they don’t skimp on ingredients. Everything came out hot, fresh, and exactly how I wanted it. Definitely one of the best pizza stops in Toledo — I’ll be back for sure.

I ordered a pizza on Saturday night. When I went to pick it up, they charged my card for the wrong order. Once this was figured out, they refunded my card immediately, which then sent the money I had for the pizza to refund limbo. I could no longer pay for my order. The cashier told me, well, at least you got your refund. Gino’s used to be a wonderful restaurant, but their customer service has been sliding downhill for several years now. Last night, it finally hit rock bottom. What kind of place screws up your bank card so that you can’t pay for your order? The answer is, the kind of place that you don’t come back to. Hands down some of the best pizza I’ve had! The regular crust is nice and crispy with just enough chew to it. Pizzas were loaded with toppings and tasted fresh. Checkout server insisted that the pizzas were inspected to make sure they were correct and looked okay. Food was delicious and worth the price. Recommended to check it out!

I normally have all great things to say about Gino’s but not today. Long story short ordered a semi big order for my job. The pizza was very crisp/burnt to some, the cheese bread was raw I pulled it and it was DOUGH not cheese. The chicken was raw not done. Some of my coworkers got sick. Oh and it was over a $100 order. If your pizza has been working for decades and was award winning, why fix what isn’t broken? The dough was not the original dough. The sauce was from a jar no consistency in cooking (over and undercooked). THE ORIGINAL GINOS is a pizza I would order every single day and can eat cold if I wanted. This is not it. It was so processed it caused my stomach to hurt.

Was told my pizza would be ready in 20 minutes for pick up at 3:50pm get there at 4:15pm and pay for my pizza only to be told it’s not ready so I sit here until 4:35 waiting for my pizza only to find out it’s been sitting out for the last 20 minutes and had been done. The service here was absolutely terrible and the worst I’ve ever experienced in any ginos. This used to be a great tasteful place with great service. So IDK what has happened in the last year. I then asked for a refund after seeing my pizza cold and thrown together like a 4 year old did it. And was told they didn’t care as the woman manager at the time ignored me and stayed texting away on her phone. Would never recommend going to this place anymore. 10/29/2025

Just OK. Cheese sticks were sub. They didn’t cut our Taco pizza. The one I paid $30 for. No place to sit whole you wait + 30 minutes.
Worst offense? You can’t tip on a card? HOW are you gonna do your employees like that in this economy? I left cash but they didn’t have change. Got the feeling the employees needed the boost.
