We ordered for takeout very last minute and the food was delicious! You get large portions for very reasonable prices. We have enough food for leftovers for a couple of meals. We will be making this a regular thing.

Came in with my family and got my signature blackened chicken bowl! It was 10/10! This location makes the bowls the best but above all Sally always makes the visit so much better. I Believe she is a manager and I know why because she is phenomenal. She was the only one working upfront today and even with very little staff we lacked nothing. She came over several times to check on our drinks and see how we liked the food. She is amazing at taking orders quickly and checking on all customers she needs to be promoted further!! Thanks for great service!

I think i caught them on a low staff busy day. we ordered a burrito and a chicken chimichunga but they came out somewhat cold and the cheese to make it wet was not wet but more hardened. Not to mention it took about 30 minutes for the basics. I have had Flats so many other times that I am not going to blast this location for its staff which was great but instead blame management and ownership for not being prepared and leaving those who were working in terrible conditions.

I’ve being going to TFlats for years and my son even worked there for a couple of years as a trainer. What a disappointment it was last night, we walked in around 8:30 and the place was emptied no one at the register we looked at the menu and finally a male walked by and said someone would be with us shortly. After a short wait they took our order and we sat in the patio area. With an empty restaurant would think the food would be ready in a short time.we waited for 15 mins before our dinner came. That was the last time Amy employee came to our table. For $33 it was disappointing would have rather of gone to Taco Bell. The chips were soggy and no seasoning by bowl had about 15 beans and onions.
Now I understand why an amazing Texmex that’s been around for 30 years is closing. That was our last visit!

We love Tijuana Flats! We had to visit and get our fix as our Virginia Beach location was closed in the buyout over a year ago.
We did run into an issue with the wait time for our order as we were behind a huge group however the GM Alexis was amazing and comped our meal to make up for it.
Another employee, Sally, was fantastic and so personable chatting with us about the history of this location and really made the experience great.
100% we will be back when we visit family down this way again!

The staff at this location is very nice and consistently gives 5 star service. The food is a little greasy sometimes but is to be expected and for some may be a required part of the meal.

First visit ever. It was the day after hurricane Ian, so their selection was limited, but that didn’t stop us from stuffing our faces! The queso was yummy. I had the blackened chicken quesadilla. It was a little bland and I’d suggest not to add pico because it made the tortilla soggy. He had the burrito and it was huge! He would’ve probably liked the chimichanga better, but he said it was pretty good. Not the best we’ve ever had, but for quick serve, it’s definitely better than Taco Belly. We will visit again and you should check it out, too!
