Although I did not physically stop in today, the staff is always nice to me and the restaurant is always clean. This time we ordered delivery and as usual, it was delicious. You definitely get your money’s worth when you purchase the lunch or dinner. I will certainly order from here again.

So after reading reviews I was reluctant to eat here but it was on my way to the house and it was getting late and there was no line inside so I decided to go for it. They have a very extensive menu so I took a while to decide and prices were great. I decided to NOT take a chance and just order Jumbo shrimp fried rice. I ordered large and it was a good size. I also ordered a veggie egg roll. It was ready in 15mins and the restaurant looked clean. **Drum Roll** it was delicious! And it was a lot of shrimp and it was clean shrimp. I was so happy. I will go back and order different dishes Excited to have a new place to try.

I have been ordering food from this establishment for 10 years or so. I went in for a specialty dish and was refused service. What I wanted was simple, chicken and shrimp w assorted vegetables with curry sauce. The guy that takes the order told me, ” he could not do that”. I thought it was a bit weird, but I just left and went to Kings Wok up the street where I was accommodated without issue. Needless to say, Oriental Chop Suey will not get another dime from me.

They used to be really good! HOWEVER, now the service is despicable. Don’t bother calling in your order, they’re ignoring the phone. When I asked if there was a new number (because I couldn’t reach them) the cashier BLATANTLY ignored me. Then I waited at the counter for 10-15 mins, and they had still not taken my order. I left. They don’t want your money, they don’t want your patronage. Save your self the time and aggravation.

I have been ordering food from here for quite some time now, because I needed a new spot to get Chinese food. In Oriental Chop Suey is just simply delicious like the Orange Chicken dinner with Chicken Fried Rice which is very popular here and the Szechuan Chicken dinner is just great.

Not sure how this place got a solid 4 stars. Perhaps it’s because the bar is THAT low around these parts. It’s clean by all appearances but the food is simply mediocre. That coupled with the unwillingness of the proprietors to substitute and high-ish prices leave you dissatisfied in a way I can’t quite put my finger on. If you HAVE to have Chinese but can’t leave the neighborhood I guess you’d be okay eating here.

My mom brought me here as a kid & now 39 years later, I bring my kids here everytime we are in town. Has been a family owned place where they know all of their customers by name. Some of the faces have changed, but the food still tastes the same as it did in the 80’s & 90’s. I use to love the pepper steak but since I don’t eat beef anymore, I go for the veggie egg foo young, the veggie fried rice & the jumbo shrimp fried rice b/c the shrimp are deveined when you get the jumbo size. I love love love the flavor of the egg foo young gravy. I often pit my egg foo young on top of my shrimp fried rice which is simply delicious! And the portions are more than enough!! Enjoy!
