I visited Red Moon Asian Cuisine in Eden Prairie for the first time today with high expectations. I’ve wanted to try this restaurant out for a while, but just had not had an opportunity. I found that the staff was very friendly, the location clean and the food was good. I ordered a lunch special hoping that it would be enough food to fill me up, but I was disappointed in the portion size. The meal cost me $14 and I felt the value was just not there. I’ve been to many other Asian restaurants with the same quality food where the portion size is larger and the price is cheaper. I think I’ll be going back to those restaurants in the future instead of this Asian restaurant.

We had a last minute party order for fried rice and lo mein. Not only did they meet the one hour notice we provided, the quality and taste exceeded all expectations of my family! Even the pickiest of kids enjoyed the noodles. The receptionist was incredibly helpful in assisting with quantities, budget and serving suggestions. We will absolutely be ordering from here again! Definitely the best we’ve had in Eden Prairie!

We received a gift card to this place. Chicken was dry in both entrees. The sauce of one entree was gelatin like. I had three bites couldn’t even finish it. The waitress asked how it was but offered nothing to try to satisfy the fact that I couldn’t stomach to eat it. I do not recommend. It was a bit surprising when we got there and there was only one other table on a Friday night, now we can see why.

Ordered General Tso chicken. Disappointed in this dish. General Tso chicken is suppose to be spicy. This is just sweet. When I mentioned it to waitress she said I would have had to order it spicy. Sorry but what they serve here is just saucy chicken. It shoud not have the General Tso description if it’s not that. Egg rolls were OK.

Edible. After a few bites I opted for leftovers from the fridge. The curry was a gelatin consistency. Little curry flavor, but the flavor that was there I am told by my wife improved by the additional of soy sauce they provided.

Came in to get food to go as I work near by. I ordered the chicken lo mein level 1 spice as I was still on the clock, and some steamed potstickers. Now I gotta say I’ve not been in there in YEARS gotta be almost 10 or so by now. Was an easy 3 star place back then, but the food now is great for the price I paid. Easily will be a regular from here on out.
