I was early to an appointment and googled breakfast. Orange Tree popped up and I’m glad it did. This little family owned restaurant was the best choice. I had a ham and cheese omelet. The omelet was three freshly cracked eggs and cooked to perfection. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Hidden gem… go check it out. Bring cash!

New place for us and had me doing a few first.
We were out west and super hungry and it was only 11 so …. for me breakfast it was. Quick Google search and I found this place.

We pulled up and big signs….
CASH ONLY…. my first thought. Nope!!!
HOWEVER. I noticed it was busy for 11 on a weekday and the crowd looked to be regulars. So I did something I would really never do. Ran to the bank
There were actually a few banking options very close to it was OK.
Now if you are a I want my menu to have a million options diner person. Not your place.
This was my kind of place though. Your home cooked grams made it in the kitchen food. Homey atmosphere. Specials on the walls. Great pricing.
How i judge a restaurant for breakfast….. the grits and biscuits and gravy. Both were amazing.
Found out as we were leaving our waitress Dina told me the place has been there 48 years. That her dad had owned it and she owns it now. How amazing 48 years!!!!!!
Go try them out with a friend you wanna sit and enjoy a cup of coffee with and a good home cooked meal

Excellent across the board. Breakfast was delicious i had the Country Benny. Fluffy biscuit with sausage patty and poached eggs and of course sausage gravy. My friends breakfast was great too. What i really liked was the family feeling and teamwork all the ladies showed. Coffee refill was always available and you could tell many customers were frequent eaters! Cash only so beware but worth it cause prices are just perfect.

Honestly i loved this place, and still do. I’ll drive 25-30 mins to go to breakfast, it’s that good. But don’t go as an individual. You’ll be sat in a corner and forgot about. It’s upsetting. I’ll still be coming back, but definitely not alone. Food is great. Coffee is great. Service, maybe it was a bad day. But for someone that loves this place, this stung a little. Oh well. Hopefully next time is better.

Absolutely great Mom and Pop breakfast diner. Highly recommend. Biscuit and Gravy was phenomenal. Also workers super nice. This place has been around forever. It is very inexpensive but they only accept cash so plan accordingly.
