10/10 every time. Always coming here for bagels w cream cheese and this specific sandwich. I’m so picky about my italian sandwiches and this one is just perfect. It’s called the Little Nicky sandwich, I got it on a roll. The people who work here are always so kind and amazing as well. <3
Edit: I see a lot of comments saying the woman who works is rude. I’ve had so many interactions with her, she answers the phone probably every time I’ve placed a pick up order and she’s great. I’ve never had a bad experience here with any of the employees.

Bagels are ok, the attitude is not.
The older lady that sometimes runs the register always has an attitude. She’s clearly being aggressive, but tries to pull it off as if she’s being nice by calling you dear and hon. I’ve had issues with her every time, but she really made me feel stupid the most recent visit. I simply wanted to pick out which Bagels I wanted. It was only 2. And I was the only customer.
I’ve encountered some nice people there, so I hate to leave a mediocre review. It’s unfortunate she has to have an attitude every time.
Overall, the bagels are OK, definitely not bad. The coffee is usually pretty good.

I tried to give this place another chance and yet it failed again. The food is just ok, nothing to write home about . But the attitude they have is so unprofessional. The older lady at the register is rude . I ordered two very simple items, a BEC with salt pepper and ketchup and a sesame bagel with scallion cream cheese. The guy who took my order seemed to have forgotten to write the bacon part down. When they brought my order they read it out and I mentioned politely it was supposed to be a Bacon egg and cheese. I was told I didn’t order it that way. Again, I politely said, I did, can we simply add bacon to it. The guy who took my

It was mine. She went to take it to give to another guy and I did grab it ensuring it was not my food. She rudely said to the guy “ I am sorry she did that”. It was a mistake based on their discombobulated system. When I walked in I heard the older woman state she doesn’t take orders and she seems very confused as to whose is whose. You need an attitude adjustment and a better system in place for orders so you can ensure you know whose is whose. I hope the owner/ manager reads this and takes into account the onto crappy experiences I have had at this establishment. I don’t seem to be the only one. After this, I won’t be back.

Orange County Bagel is the most amazing bagel eatery in the area, it’s always clean, the food is always delicious, and Jan, one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. If you haven’t been to Orange County Bagel in Walden, New York, you’re missing out.

Today I called, apparently, just before closing to place an order. (Tuesday, November 4th, 2025) I was told that I could get my order if I could pick it up in 5 minutes. Otherwise, “I guess I’ll be taking it home with me.” (With attitude. I asked if there was, possibly, any bacon made and was told “I don’t think so!” Again…attitude! I ordered the Little Nicky, with LIGHT onions. The sandwich was advertised as having oil and vinegar. My son got there on time. The sandwich was overloaded with onions and DRY! No oil and vinegar at all! I will say that the macaroni and potato salads are delicious. And, the dill pickle is yummy! Too bad the attitude was bad, and the sandwich was so dry. Better luck next time!

I really liked the sausage, egg and cheese on a garlic bagel I got. My husband liked the breakfast sandwich he ordered as well. Quick service, clean and spacious inside. We went during mid-morning during the week, not crowded at all. The cashier was very friendly. Has a self-serve coffee station with several different creamers and half-and-half to choose from. We will definitely come again!

I was charged an outrageous $545.25 for THREE bacon, egg & cheese sandwiches and ONE cinnamon bagel with cream cheese and jelly. To make matters worse, they STILL charged me for the bagels after supposedly “canceling” the order. When I checked my bank account, no refund was ever issued.
When I confronted the man working there, his response was: “Sorry, I have no control of the bank.” Absolutely unacceptable. This isn’t the first time they’ve messed up—just last week my order was wrong too.
This place constantly makes mistakes, takes no responsibility, and now has the nerve to hold hundreds of dollars of my money. Ridiculous, unprofessional, and shady.
Final Warning: DO NOT go back to this place!

Don’t bother trying to call your order in for take out. They take the phone off the hook. You get nothing but a busy signal. Been happening for years now. I even called when I was on line and it’s busy. Nobody is on the phone. Don’t get it.
