Epically the male. When I had spoken to the new manager about my concerns she was rude and said “well things are different now and I can’t help you” over a size being wrong with my smoothie. After speaking with the girl tonight about my size being wrong she fixed it but she has expressed since old manager left and district manager left they haven’t had any guidance from new management and a lot of employees don’t care anymore. You guys need to get back on track before you loose all business and shut down. And need a manager who’s not rude and employees who care. Unfortunately if you can’t fix these problems I’ll have to stop coming.
Coming price is a little crazy for product but was delicious. Customer service not that great today. The girl working this morning was as on the phone whole
Time bad mouthing the store and how no one should be there and she wants to just
Walk out and lots of cussing which as I was referred to try it told food great and was told a girl in morning is normally nice as well as the gentleman I was taken back. My friend is a duly regular he comes every day after gym. Asked for manager was told they have no real manager just a temp and to call.
I called no answer. If I come back I hope it’s better service might want to work on training again. Other than that food was good.
Price: $10.99 for a small and $0.99 for any additional toppings. For that amount you get, this is overpriced. Nu Kitchen bowls have much more base and they are $12.99
Staff: They are nice but seem so confused! I ordered something off their standard menu and had to repeat myself 4 times and point to the menu so the teen could understand what I wanted. I then dared to ask for an additional topping and they got very very flustered. And wouldn’t you know – I paid for it and never got it!
Manager: Both times I have seen the manager or owner unengaged from his crew that is so clearly struggling. They stick their head up from their table in the dining room to offer help, and when there is no response because their staff is overwhelmed, they just sit back down on the computer. I am sure there are tons and tons of things they want to get done as the owner, but it would be better for the business if you ensured your staff was properly trained and supported.
Order Time: When I have gone, there has always been a crowd but none of us are eating. We are waiting for our meals. I ordered online before and didn’t receive my food until 90 minutes after I ordered! Online it said it would take 25! I went next door, got a bagel and came back in the time it took to get my to-go order.
Food: Holy added sugar. Yes it is a treat, but 70 grams of added sugar is insane. I am glad they offer zero sugar base now! Also check out the base to granola ratio. Crazy.
Overall, I am sad to say I won’t be returning. It is such a good concept but it is executed so poorly.
Treat this place as a occasional dessert, and it’s excellent.

This place should have a warning label on their door. It feels deceptive to market a restaurant as healthy when their signature bowl has the equivalent of six donuts from the Dunkins across the street.
To recognize the positives: The service is friendly and helpful, and they also are very fast! A lot of acai places seem to take 10 minutes even without other people waiting to make a bowl. They’re presented beautifully and the space is nice.
The bowls are absolutely delicious. The best acai bowls I have had. Unfortunately, I found the reason for that: Their signature bowl is listed on the nutrition page on their website as having 146 carbs, with 98g sugar and 70g added sugar. That’s 3-4 times the maximum daily recommended amount of sugar.
The problem is that this is not normal for acai bowls. Sobol in North Andover and Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Amesbury come in much less.
I could have looked up these nutrition facts ahead of time of course, I just didn’t expect this place to put such an insane amount of sugar in their food. I feel like I need to skip a week’s worth of sugar now after eating one of those.
It’s just a shame they feel the need to market themselves as healthy and then have the same amount of sugar as four Dairy Queen hot fudge sundaes in their food.
