New owners, the last lady dipped out and abandoned ship. Just wanted to give a genuine thank you guys for taking it over so we didn’t lose this too. They are her family friend & have all the recipes and are very kind & trying to keep all the customers just as happy as they were. The bowl was honestly better than ones I have had there before due to their lack of consistency prior. Give them a chance! This young couple who cares to keep it going needs our support! We can’t lose this too!

This place used to be so good but has gone downhill… waited over 30 minutes for a simple smoothie. one person was working and I was waiting at the register for 10min before he even acknowledged me and while I was standing there he took a phone order instead of mine even though the orders in store were so backed up. I want to love this place and continue to support it since it has such quality ingredients but so disappointed in my last visit.

I was super excited to try this place after reading all the fantastic reviews. My only disappointment was that all three workers inside were not wearing masks (that lost them a star). Everything else was great – customer service, flavor, wait time, etc. When the phone rang, the gal helping me gave it to another staff person to answer so she could be present with me to answer my questions. They even offered to bring my smoothie out to me in my car as an option (or I could wait outside). I was especially impressed with the added orange and strawberry on top of the cup. Hope to visit here again at some point!

Some of the best acai bowls you will get in the NSB area! I will say that there isn’t much space to just sit and eat with friends, but I typically take my bowl and walk over to the park to eat, which gives me time to eat by the water.

This is one (out of two) of my favorite places to get acai bowls from in Volusia county. I have tried other places, and this and Solberry in Ormond Beach are top tier; other places that advertise acai bowls just have not hit the mark. Mason Bar’s acai bowls are absolutely delicious and fresh, and the customer service is really great! The tsunami (with Nutella instead of PB) is my go-to, and it never disappoints! Seriously so refreshing, especially before or after the beach!

I stopped in for an Açai bowl for lunch. It was the perfect light meal. I ordered the Octopus with Kale, spinach, banana, ginger, lime and blueberry. It was the perfect non sweet energy boost I needed. Great flavor mix with the granola and honey.

Mason bar used to be the best place to get Açaí bowls in New Smyrna beach. I hadn’t been there in a couple years and I was craving one so I went. I got a large açaí bowl, (which used to be $11) She rings in my order and it comes out to $17. I mean I understand inflation, but this is outrageous. The açaí base itself was literally just shaved ice, and it tasted like water. I was so disappointed, definitely NOT worth $17. Do not spend your money here.
