The food, which came out fast and hot, was amazing… the chicken, cranberry and brie pizza especially! It was really busy, but we might as well have been the only ones there given how attentive and responsive the staff were. A shout out to Christina in particular; friendly, efficient, impossible to fluster, and responsible for allowing us to relax and enjoy out end-of-year dinner with thoughtful and seamless service. The food was very good in general, though the platter stater was a little on the small side for the price. We ate early (6pm) and this could have been why the service was very slow. We only managed to order two drinks for the table during a 2.5hr dinner. The last round took 20-25mins to arrive. The waitress was lovely and did her best, but sadly she was the only person serving.

So disappointed with our experience last night. It was busy (Ed Sheeran concert night) so we knew there would be a fair wait. After an hour I asked if the waitress could find out how much longer our order would be. She came back to say it had never gone through and we’d have to choose something different if we still wanted to eat. To be fair, they don’t charge us for the food but they clearly needed more staff and should have been able to anticipate that given how many people were in town for the concert. Food was average, expensive for what it was. Waitress was very polite and apologetic but didn’t offer kids menus, didn’t ask if we wanted more drinks etc as she was just too busy. Even the wait to pay was ridiculous. Won’t be going back in a rush.

Food was on the higher end of average, pizzas were nice. The waiter who seated us was pleasant but the lady who brought our drinks over for us was surly and clearly didn’t know what a smile was. Food was slow to come out but we weren’t too worried about that. Second round of drinks never came out and noone came to check on our meals so we had to get a waiters attention to find out about them, they had been forgotten or the order hadn’t been placed. We had all finished eating by this time so told them not to worry about the drinks. The waiter did wipe the cost of our first round of drinks. Won’t be going back.

The ambience is good and a lot of cool breeze but near the beach. The seating outside is awesome.
The cheese platter and the non veg platters are good even though the portion is less.

Went here with our high school girls and our wee baby. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great. Maybe it just wasn’t for me. They were super helpful and accommodating for our baby needs.
Food wasn’t bad. A range of starters were okay but generic. I tried the “some like it hot” pizza and it was indeed very hot. But the sweet chili was a bit weird for me as it made it sticky, and didn’t balance the spiciness well with the other types of spice. Perhaps having a cream based sauce that could’ve been spicy too would’ve worked better.
I think maybe the real reason for feeling it was good but not great was that for the wholesome pub vibe, it was just a bit overpriced.
