This is a wonderful place to get your pastry fix. It can get pretty crowded during lunch, even on a weekday. They have indoor dining tables, but they also have plenty of outdoor tables in front of the bakery, in the back patio with plenty of shade provided by a huge tree, and in their backyard below the patio. The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. I wish we discovered this place sooner. We will definitely be back again.

This place rocks. 7/19 lunch hour, line was long, service was fast. 1/2 the town of Benicia is either a customer or an employee!

The shop is super busy on weekend. Staffs are very helpful and clearly communicate to customers. They help to make sure all the foods are prepared as needed to customers. Nut free food are also available. The food are priced as the way of Frency. Pastry section is really good. Most likely some sandwich menu items are not available in weekend afternoon. Toilet is available and the backyard garden is entertaining indeed.

Very tasty and different menu. We had the veggie pot pie and falafel side salad. Surprisingly more filling than what it first looked like. Would definitely have lunch there again.

Amazingly great pastries and breads. Worth a long detour if you’re in Northern California.

I just finished one of the best savory tarts ever. From One House in Benicia. I was only going to eat half but of course ……… since I’ve never ever been disappointed there I shoulda known I would eat it all.

Yes, the food and drinks are first rate. It’s so good, we had three consecutive breakfasts here. Lemon tart, bear claw, and croissant and egg sandwich were favorites. However, the outdoor seating areas stole the show with multiple levels built around a tree with climbing (and blooming) vines all around. Spectacular, cozy, and beautiful. Highly recommended. (Early risers will be rewarded with more seating options. ) We loved this place and will come back when in Benicia.

Great use of space especially the outdoor back “secret garden” with huge tree and wisteria. Picturesque! They have upstairs mezzanine with additional seating and workspace for those who come alone. Yummy pastries and sandwiches. Love the sustainable cutlery and to go boxes. Thank you for the gem in Solano County.

We’ve walked by this place dozens of times but haven’t gone in because of the line. I decided to try it today and can’t believe we waited this long. First, the place is huge and had multiple seating options inside and out with a large 2-level dog-friendly patio in the back. The line moved quickly. I tried the breakfast sandwich with bacon, which was exquisite! I also treated myself to a mocha this morning that did not disappoint. We can’t wait to try the delicious looking pastries (we were too full to eat any more and it was too hot to walk home carrying them or we would have taken some to-go), salads and sandwiches. Highly recommend!!!

From the moment I stepped in, the aroma of freshly baked goods filled the air, creating an inviting atmosphere. The selection of pastries, cakes, and bread was extensive, and each item was a masterpiece in itself. The bakery is a little expensive but it is so worth it. The taste of their treats surpassed all expectations. Whether it was the flaky croissants, decadent cakes, or warm, soft bread, every bite was pure bliss. It’s evident that the bakers here take great pride in their craft. The staff was friendly and helpful, offering recommendations and ensuring a pleasant experience. But I might have a little bias since some of my friends work there. I would most definitely recommend!
