I’ve dined at this location multiple times and have always had a top notch experience. From the chefs, to the SAs to the management team everyone is friendly and efficient. I’ve been waited on by Faith in the dining room with my family as well as in the bar and never wanted for anything, suggestions were made and absolutely loved everything we had food and drink wise. The manager Matt came and checked on us each time I was in and always had wonderful stories and is so very knowledgeable about wine! Jonathan and Eric provided a wonderful service on a celebratory event in the bar area and we loved our lobster dinner that was on special during that time! I’ve been dining at Morton’s locations across the country since 2002 and have never been disappointed!

Some of the items I’ve ordered this year:

Lobster tail
Cajun ribeye
Miso Sea Bass
Seafood tower
Filet Oscar
Waygu Baseball Cut top sirloin
Margarita Millionaria
Opus One
Louis XIII
High end wine

Wanted to try one more premium steakhouse for a special 65th Birthday.

Called on Friday 9/26/25
Michelle a top notch server took my call and answered every question, plus shared a dinner for TWO promo that expires on 9/30/25

Her description and enthusiasm was contagious and made me hungry

I asked if she was working on Sunday and if we could sit in her section and she said absolutely and she booked us a reservation for 4:30 with a booth.

We arrived at 4:20

Sweet Michelle was no where to be found.

But Charlotte from Grand Rapids assured us and delivered us a memorable evening and event.

First we ordered a Cosmo, to share and Charlotte had the extraordinary bartender split it in short glasses vs a martini glass
( nice touch)
We were torn between the NY empire 28 ounce cut at $159 ( for two)

Or the 36 ounce
Bone in Tomahawk
At $189
Including
2-salads
2-butters
2-sides

Plus Charlotte and Morton treated me to a Dessert on the house
( $17 value)
It was a homemade chocolate cake that takes 30 minutes to bake served with vanilla Haagen-Dazs ice cream.

Our steak was

Good call. The salad selection was a nice wide variety.

We chose the very unique chopped greek
With roasted chickpeas, roasted and fresh tomatoes, feta, cukes, romaine and iceberg lettuce.

The dressing was magical. Steak arrived just as we were finishing up our salads perfect timing perfect pace.
The chef finely sliced the beef and separated it from the large Tomahawk bone it was a beautiful presentation.
For our sides we chose charred broccolini and hand dipped panko onion rings.

Every dish
Every side
Every salad
Was excellent.

We even splurged and joined the Landry rewards program.
($25 one time fee) Paid for itself on the spot offering a Birthday voucher next year, plus a $25 gift for today’s purchase.

Charlotte had lots of rizz and confidence.

We never touched our Mortons bread.

The staff assembled a wonderful carryout package

Dessert!!!!!
Was a delightful, mind blown experience to share.

They also had a photographer on site
Took a picture of our memorable evening.

Printed it, placed it in a keepsake card.

Mortons Ty for an impressive Birthday Event.

Not to be forgotten anytime soon.

The food was delicious. I’d like to thank the staff for accommodating me and my daughter celebrating her birthday. It was our first time being there and the restaurant itself was comfortable and inviting.

I attended my work Christmas party at Morton’s this weekend. We had a 50+ party in a side room. I had VERY high expectations. This was my first time visiting and everyone I talked to really hyped this place up.

Customer service was top notch. Staff was absolutely amazing. Every request was accommodated and drinks were refilled quickly. I can’t fault anything about the staff. They took really good care of us.

The only thing that surprisingly disappointed me was the steak. The main event. The star of the show.. it was mid and overcooked.

My requested medium rare filet was medium+ by the time it got to me. I did not send it back because I didn’t want to be the jerk at the company Christmas party. I’m sure my steak sat under a warming lamp for a very long time before it got to me because the size of our party and i was sitting at the last table that was served.

The plate presentation looked very cruise ship “throw it on the plate and get it out” at best. (see photo and judge for yourself)

I expected the steak to be the main event at Morton’s Steakhouse. But f you are an acclaimed Steakhouse that can’t serve a steak at the temp a customer requested, nothing else you do really matters.

The salad, rolls, sides and desserts were all amazing, which makes the mid steak even more disappointing.

I feel like we got the express rush version of Morton’s. I’m sure if you are a smaller party the attention to detail would be much better. But at the price we paid, we shouldn’t have to accept a lower standard because we were in a large party.

I’m still giving five stars because I don’t leave negative reviews, but if I had to pay for this meal I would have been disappointed.

I probably won’t visit again but I’m glad I got to experience Morton’s.

Feliz Navidad!

I attended the taste of two legends this Saturday, March 7. Everything was excellent. The food was excellent. The wine was excellent such a happy upbeat atmosphere. I really really enjoyed this event. Only thing missing They should’ve had a little jazz playing in the background. It was just wonderful thank you for this experience and thank you for having this for the community. !!!

Every year on NYE we go out to a nice restaurant for our anniversary. The service elsewhere is always horrible and the food mediocre.
Tonight? FABULOUS! Our waiter, Mario, was fantastic! It’s the best dining experience we have had in 10 years on NYE.

My husband and I love Morton’s!! We came today for happy hour and got braised beef tacos, smash burgers, fries, onion rings and wine all discounted till 6:30. Were regulars and love the main menu but offer items for all price points and everything is always exceptional!! Wait staff of Faith, Jonathan and Eric always remember us and give us superb service.
Management is phenomenal too, we love EJ!! Beautiful atmosphere too. Love love coming here!!

Morton’s was so disappointing that I feel obligated to write this review.

They called us the day before with a lecture that felt like a collections agency tracking down a debt. They emphasized strict punctuality and the dress code so hard, the woman actually offered to explain what “business casual” means. We followed their rules, showed up right on time, and still had to stand in the lobby for 30 minutes. It wasn’t just us, either – the place was packed with other “punctual” people waiting on tables that apparently didn’t exist.

When we finally sat down, the service was in a complete meltdown. I watched a table nearby sit there for 45 minutes eating bread, realize their food wasn’t coming, pay for the bread, and just leave. It took us 20 minutes just to get drinks, and honestly, I wish they hadn’t bothered. They served clearly stale wine and put crushed ice in a martini.

The food was the final insult. The steaks tasted old, and they served me a rotten oyster. I tasted it and immediately had to spit it out on the plate. I asked for a fresh glass of water right away, and it took them 15 minutes to bring it. I sat there for a quarter of an hour with the taste of spoiled shellfish in my mouth because nobody could be bothered to pour a glass of tap water.

The entire night felt like a long fever dream. Someone nearby started blasting old western cowboy music on full volume from their phone. This went on for a solid 10 minutes, and not a single staff member asked them to stop. Then, an older gentleman – who had clearly enjoyed too many of those gas station martinis – started stumbling table to table, tripping over chairs and practically hovering over strangers’ plates. Again, the staff did absolutely nothing.

I paid for the oysters, which is fine – I ordered them – but the kicker was watching the table next to us get their steak taken off the bill just because it was slightly overcooked. Meanwhile, I’m paying full price for spoiled shellfish and slushy martinis.

To cap it all off, my wife went to the restroom before leaving and found exactly one working sink. You’d think they could afford a plumber.

When they offered us dessert, we just got up and went to Shake Shack next door. That shake was the only thing I consumed that night that didn’t taste like regret.

If you have the audacity to lecture me on a dress code, have the decency to serve food that isn’t actively decomposing. You’re charging luxury prices to play Fear Factor in a blazer.

My husband and I dined at Mortons in Troy and had the most amazing experience. It started with our server, Mario, who was the most Professional waiter that we have had in a long time. He started by greeting us by our unique last name. Yes, he said it correctly! He provided the menus and gave us time to peruse without stress. He returned to discuss starters and cocktails. He displayed expertise with the menu and suggested an amazing cocktail! Mario was patient with our questions about the different cuts and even took time to give us a little show and tell with the display. He even remembered our to go request and had it waiting for us (no delay). Mario was a pleasurable asset to our regular date night. His attention to our needs was an added touch to our romantic dinner!

The atmosphere was great. We can’t blame Mortons for a few loud guests. The hostess was especially attentive and sat us away from them. We were able to enjoy the soft music.

The food was delicious -no disappointments to mention! We both ordered the cajun ribeye and our sides were delightful. No room for dessert…maybe next time.

We read an unfavorable review about Mario and refuse to believe it. Did I say Mario was pleasant, professional, patient and an added touch to our dining experience? Well, let me say it again…Mario was pleasant, professional, patient and an added touch to our dining experience! We look forward to dining in his area in the future! Next time we are bringing our mom and wont need to order her a meal to go .

Had an absolutely wonderful time! I read a majority of the reviews, and I noticed that people are quick to write a negative and seldomly do people write a positive.
I had the Cajun ribeye and it was the most flavorful steak I had ever had! Our server was top notch. From her recommendations, to her pacing out our dinner. Unlike most, we were there for the experience and not just to eat food. That is what you are paying for, relax and enjoy!
We have been to other steakhouses and I appreciate the fact that they honor the dress code. You don’t have to wear a suit, they allow jeans. Over heard people at the door arguing with the hostess about their hoodie. This is a nice restaurant. If you can’t afford to wear something other than sweatpants, then this isn’t your place.
I don’t understand the low star rating. Every time we come here everything has been exceptional! The management team is very friendly and has rectified any problems we may have had.
Seems like some people would rather hide behind their keyboard than give the managers the opportunity to make things right!
