My wife and I went here for the first time on a Saturday and had a pleasant experience. The service was good, the drinks were great, and the food was amazing. We started off with the maine lobster tostadas, which were absolutely delicious. My only complaint is that for $28 it was not much at all. For my entree I ordered the matamoros tacos and my wife ordered the pescado tacos. The pescado tacos were pretty good, but my matamoros tacos were delicious. We loved this place and would definitely come back!

I have eaten here since its opening, celebrated many special events and casual dinners.

1. Reservation: recommended, but you will get a table just fine unless you come during special holidays.

2. Food: taste is good but I usually feel indigestion later.
– tacos: great!
– ceviche: was a bit disappointing. I normally like the taste
– meat platter: huge and it is good!

3. Dessert: not good. The cakes are dry and tastes like they had it in the fridge for long

4. Drinks: mixed drinks are great!

5. Service: very accommodating and polite.

6. Ambience is welcoming, warm and can host both small and big parties, including business meetings.

7. Don’t order takeout here! It travels poorly and doesn’t taste good. Just need to eat it fresh.

All in all, a great place.

I had such a great experience at Ometeo in Tysons. I sat dined in the Cadillac Lounge upstairs which has the cutest vibe. The DJ added so much energy to the space without being overwhelming. I ordered the guava and hibiscus margarita with mezcal and it was incredibly refreshing. I also had the fried cauliflower which was really good, and the Matamoros tacos which were absolutely amazing!!! So flavorful and well seasoned.

Beautiful restaurant, great for big groups and easily shareable menu! We were a group of 7. Service was attentive and helpful.

Fried Cauliflower- yum!
Flautas-tasty
Pork belly taco-were good
Matamoros taco- was ok, was kinda bland
Fajitas- very generous portions

Food quality was solid. I’d prefer a little more “heat” but overall food quality was good. We would definitely return.

Ometeo has a really beautiful atmosphere and the vibe alone makes it a fun place to visit. The drinks were excellent and most definitely the highlight of the night. Creative, well-made, and worth trying.

The food, however, was a bit underwhelming for the price point. Everything was fine, but nothing really stood out as memorable, especially considering how expensive it was. The chips were also much thicker than I personally prefer, which made them a little harder to enjoy. I got the queso con carne as well and it very much gave concession stand.

Overall, it’s a great spot for drinks and ambiance, but the food didn’t quite match the price or expectations for me. Still a nice place to spend an evening if you’re looking for a lively setting.

Snacks at the bar and the ceviche was small but flavor 10/10. Best, most flavorful, thickest chips I’ve ever had at a Mexican restaurant. Not too loud which I enjoyed.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Dining Experience at OmeteO

I recently visited OmeteO and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt warm, welcoming, and well-organized. The service was attentive, professional, and efficient throughout my visit.

A special mention goes to Manager Noe, who was exceptionally kind and helpful. His friendly attitude and genuine hospitality made my experience even better and showed a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

The restaurant is beautifully maintained, the staff is respectful, and the overall ambiance creates a pleasant and enjoyable dining environment. I highly recommend OmeteO to anyone looking for great service, delicious food, and an outstanding overall experience

We visited during restaurant week and enjoyed sampling their brunch menu, which was fantastic! The restaurant is impressively large and spans two stories, with every corner thoughtfully designed. The vibrant colors and intricate details truly elevate the dining experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly and provided top-notch service, while the food was high-quality and made from fresh ingredients that tasted wonderful. Our experience at this Tex-Mex restaurant was nothing short of excellent— the food, drinks, service, and stylish atmosphere all came together seamlessly!

I came here on Cinco de Mayo to try Ometeo’s Fajitas de Res con Todo. I started with a Torta with Chicken Milanesa. The bread was nice, but the chicken was super thin and mostly breading. The chips and salsa were fresh and great. I tried the Tacos Hongos. The flavor was ok, but the texture was off. It felt too slimy. The fajitas were supposed to be the star of the show. The presentation was outstanding. Serving the meat on the beef ribs was a nice touch. I wished the meat had more flavor. The beans were bland and tasteless. They tasted like they came straight from a can. The rice was better. The beef rib meat was overcooked and not medium , as I requested, and had the texture of a pot roast. The meat tasted bland and not seasoned. The cheese became melted on the cast iron skillet and became a mess to try to eat it and incorporate it into a tortilla. The picture looked so promising, but the reality left much to be desired. Another note: serving diet coke in a 12 oz bottle for $4 seems excessive. Your carafe of water was room temperature, and I was never offered ice for my cup. Not a good experience. The live mariachi band was a nice touch, but it could not salvage the evening. I have had far better fajitas for a fraction of the $83 price these cost. I was so disappointed
