Unbelievable value.
I’m impressed that Oma Sushi overthrew my favorite AYCE sushi spot by a wide margin. If it weren’t so far from us, we’d go more often.

$48 for one incl tax and 20% tip. That’s on par with a chirashi at most higher-end sushi restaurants these days – yet includes a chopped toro nigiri (one per person).

The 2-hr clock starts on your first order. A few appetizers are good, but my favorite sections are the seared and speciality nigiri that come with kizami, or grated wasabi I mean, look at the spread (for four) in my pictures below.

Items to get:
– Thai Chili Garlic Hamachi – got this 3x
– Seared Nigiri, esp. Seared scallop with kizami and tobiko, and anything with kizami
– Specialty Nigiri, esp salmon belly/ikura and chopped scallop
– Fried rock shrimp salad – but with no sauce
– Salmon skin hand roll with no eel sauce
– Steak
The only downside is that each nigiri has a LOT of rice, which adds up quickly.

Wouldn’t get again:
– Nigiri: Ika (fishy), yellow tobiko

Didn’t get to try and will try next time:
– Tuna/beef tataki
– Yellowtail jalapeno
– Galbi/bulgogi
– Fish tofu skewer
– Saba nigiri
– HALF Rolls: OMG, Trust Me Baby
– One scoop each of red bean and green tea ice cream

Service was prompt (thanks, Kyle) and the place looks nice – it gives a bit of a modern Chinese restaurant vibe and not in a bad way.

We went to celebrate a birthday and got a free crème brûlée alongside the green tea ice cream and fried sesame balls. 10/10 will go again.

Call to reserve a table in advance! Plenty of parking.

The place is only the biggest AYCE sushi places I’ve been to and they have al carte items as well. There’s a few things on the menu that is limited like the toro you only get 1 per person. I really loved the fact that you could get half of a roll portion instead of 8 you can get 4 pieces.

The service was also great. We got seating right away and the server was attentive. The only thing I wish is that they had the pencil and paper to write down the rolls you want instead of having the server have to wait for you to choose your order. Even having an electronic device to make your order would’ve been acceptable.

The place was actually decorated nicely and they also had a second floor and elevator to get up there for the staff. There was plenty of parking but it gets filled up quick because it’s in the strip near other restaurants and stores.

There were some rolls that didn’t make the mark for me but others were good. I did notice that the rolls are smaller than what you normally would get at other places.

The food here is amazing. I love the ambience and the service is also perfect. I’ve been here a few times and every time I go they surprise me with new items. The quality of food here is awesome. If someone like me loves sushi should try rock n roll, oma roll especially. Best all you can eat in houston!!

Came to try the ACYE sushi since I heard pretty good reviews and thing. I came on a Friday night and there was a pretty long wait time (1 hour) for a table for two. I noticed that the only way to get a reservation is through call or joining a wait list (no online reservation). So be prepared to wait if you come with no reservation and on a weekend night. The place has a lot of seating and able to hold large party since there is a second floor with larger tables. The menu has a large selection from hot & cold appetizers, skewers, hibachi, sushi roll, sashimi, nigiri, etc. The food was good and came out at a decent pace despite being busy. Though a lot of the food were too overly salted and a handful of items were out. My server was very nice and told us about the new items that were added to the menu. I noticed that the staff often time stood and just stared along with from the overheads balcony on the second floor making it very uncomfortable to eat but that could just be me.
Overall, food was good and definitely recommend coming early for a table if you’re coming during dinner hours.

had birthday dinner there and it was second time. fresh and delicious sushi and food was served quickly. my waitress was attentive and always around to help taking new orders. the best part is you can request half portion so you can try more other dishes. Only one set back is other places would include at least few options of softdrink with ayce menu but this place only offers water.

It’s fantastic. The best AYCE sushi I’ve ever had. The seared nigiri is my favorite. So many options and the quality and taste of each dish is exceptional considering the price. You pay around $40 or so for as much delicious sushi as you can ever eat; I don’t know how it gets better than that.

I love, love, LOVE Oma Sushi 🙂

We were immediately seated on a Sunday night and treated so well by Bella! She was so lovely and gave great recommendations for our party that were a bit indecisive about what to get. She truly went above and beyond, and we were all happy with our food and her service. We will definitely be requesting her at our next visit! All of the items that we had came out at a good time and the fish was consistently good quality.

The AYCE dinner menu here offers a good variety, though the quality can vary. The sashimi cuts were inconsistent, but still fresh overall. The hibachi steak and shrimp were perfectly cooked. The seared nigiri is definitely worth a try. Hamachi Kama was underwhelming. Rock shrimp salad was a disappointment—soggy fried shrimp served over roughly chopped iceberg lettuce. Several dark plates had visible fingerprints, which was hard to overlook. Also, placing receipts over the food, especially within the customer’s view, is something that really should be avoided. The quality of the food seems to depend on how busy the restaurant is. When it’s less crowded, the food and presentation seem to get a little more attention.

I had ayce lunch. Firstly, very nice restaurant. They have many different categories such as Baos, hibachi, nigiri, rolls, cooked and raw stuffs. Sushi appetizers is limited 2 per person. They promote Hamachi Karma free for 2ppls but ran out, so disappointed. I also ordered a Tiger’s eye roll, tastes not good, especially they put green bell peppers rather than jalapeno (why???)
Anw, I like the crab puffs and hibachi stuffs.

By far my favorite all you can eat sushi place. Big menu, reasonable prices, a nice atmosphere and fresh ingredients. But a standout here was my server. A super nice, kind, girl named Euliah. She said she was new but made the experience so much better; she stopped to chat with us and told us about the restaurant and lots of the menu items. 5 stars.
