I recently visited the pizza restaurant in South Glastonbury, Connecticut, and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience! I ordered a plain cheese pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with just the right amount of chewiness. The cheese was melted to perfection, creating that delightful gooey stretch with each bite, and the sauce had a wonderful balance of tangy and sweet flavors. The service was friendly and efficient, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great pizza spot in the area!

I was craving a cutlet grinder- saw this restaurant while driving and ordered take out. Delicious! Bread and chicken cooked perfectly. You would think this dish couldn’t be messed up but it is at a lot of places. I’ll def be back! Plus this “half grinder” was huge and under $10 ☺️

I really love the pizza! I need to try their other dishes. The special pizza is great a lot of toppings and great taste. It’s not too thick or too thin. Not overly greasy either. I no longer live in town but when I visit Glastonbury I come here. It’s almost like an old school pizza. Different in a great way than anywhere else. They’re always consistent with the food which is awesome.

I’ve traveled near and far to find the perfect grinder X as far west as CA and as far south as the Mississippi, little did I know the next town had a little geek pizza place that harbored the best. Fresh ingredients and value on the dollar are taken away from Olympic pizza . The meatball grinder is my go to although their pizza and other sandwiches/grinders are great too. The meatball grinder has fresh bread not too crispy and. It too soft. The meatballs taste extremely flavorful and are perfectly moist. I go with the roasted peppers and prov cheese to round out what in my mind is the best meatball grinder on the east coast . And it’s 9.99 for a very large grinder so the value is there too! It’s a bi weekly staple in my diet, whether my heart likes it or not

And there are now pizza themed CT license plates for sale! Well, Glastonbury could become the best Pizza Town in the State (& World?). How? Try my POAM Pizza. After decades of pickup pizza formulations, I’ve found the best combo/creator. It is my POAM pizza from Olympic. Try it. Order a pizza with 4 toppings: Pineapple, Olive(black), Artichoke, Mushroom. We decided to try Olympic Pizza based on seeing it every day on the drive to work and also the great reviews. We were greeted warmly at the register when we arrived to pick up our pizza. The pizza did not disappoint. It was excellent Greek pizza. Great flavor. We’ll absolutely be back again for more.

We called to order a pizza was told 25 minutes , I got there in 6 minutes it was not put in yet. So I paid waited about 2 minutes later asked if I could order a grinder .was told pizza would be out in six minutes . So I said never mind . Got the pizza , drove home was cold. If anyone has not figured it out they seem to make their pizza ahead of time , just add the toppings and heat it. Awful service ,waste of $21.20 they are a disgrace. Why are there no negative stars on this site!
So I call the owner Faye on Tuesday and she tells me this never happens they are always freshly made pizza to come by and she will give me a replacement for free. I go Sunday 26th she tells me she changed her mind the pizza came directly out of the over and could not get cold that fast. Told her no problem will go elsewhere from now on . She follows me as I am trying to leave complaining about the review and she was shaking inside all week because of the bad review.! East fix Faye if you had exceptional food and service that’s the review you would have got maybe you should try fixing that instead of whining and playing victim .

My go-to pizza place! Local to me, very polite staff who remember my face and make me feel very welcome. Food is always great, and I can’t be happier with how affordable it is! Highly recommend to anyone who has not dined with them to try it, you will not be disappointed
