Only disappointed in myself for not checking this place out a lot sooner! Everything was perfect! The cocktails and food we ordered were 10/10. Best espresso martini in town by far. The olives and bread w butter were both delicious, reasonably priced, and the perfect portions for when you want to snack while you drink. The staff is super friendly and happy to answer questions. Loved the overall vibe/atmosphere inside. It’s decorated very well and feels like a bar that would be in a bigger city. The place itself is kind of small but while they were pretty busy we were still able to find parking and seats at the bar. I can’t recommend it enough, 100% run to go check it out!

This place is … PERFECTION. Not a flaw. Spent some time here for my birthday celebration. Quite a hidden gem. I could go on and on.
Serves Jager, got to try Sake- cowboy one. Excellent. Staff is extremely knowledgable and were able to answer every single one of my questions. Dom helped me with the Sake. Definition of Hospitality. Whole building is so unique and beautiful, would personally spend hours gawking at the art and decor.
Second night, ordered a Moscat, a singular Prince Edward Island oyster to try, and the chicken picatta dish. Everything was 1,000,000/10. The wine was sweet and not too strong tasting. Oyster, unique. Definitely different. Excellent experience. Chicken picatta, out of this world.
Servers are excellent and memorized my order of 3 items, which may not seem impressive, but it is considering the fact that they were slammed busy. Every seat had a butt in it and people standing enjoying drinks/company.
Extremely hospitable environment. If you are looking for a unique time, come here!!!!
Shoutout also to Faithe Q, Molly, and Ivan!!!!!
You MUST go into the restrooms. Very unique.
Extremely clean establishment.

My fiancé and I honestly couldn’t believe that we hadn’t yet visited this place considering how close it was to where we lived. Granted, our waitress told us they only opened a little over a year ago, but still. Excellent atmosphere, with a awesome-looking bar and a real hole-in-the-wall eatery vibe going on.
Specializes more in drinks and single-order finger foods rather than large combo meals, but what food is offered is delicious, well-prepared, and exotic depending on the week. They even had steak tartar on the menu when we visited! The only thing I could note as a downside is that there isn’t a lot of parking available, but that’s not really the fault of the eatery and the meal and experience more than made up for it. Will definitely be visiting again!

Finally made it out to one of the coolest spots in Dayton. This oyster tapas bar really is a must not only for its immaculate vibe but also it’s unique menu. The hand crafted drinks were delicious and the food was amazing! I had a hard time choosing so we got a little bit of everything including the west and east coast oysters. they have also paired with Grist who provides them with delicious bread.

What a gem! Love finding a place like this in Dayton… amazing food and drinks in a very small unique venue waiting staff was wonderful also. I enjoyed the oyster me and drinks the most but they had such a fun different style menu I wanted to try many things! Parking was brutal because they only have about 5 spots but otherwise got right in and had a great experience!

Far exceeded my expectations. Terrific service, outside seating was really lovely, pate and raw cheeses very savory and cocktails perfectly balanced. The oysters were very fresh and the beanie baby cocktail was delicious and highly creative. 5 stars for this hidden gem.

What an absolute fabulous addition to Dayton. The Silver Slipper is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. We were met by the owners when we arrived and treated with amazing and excellent customer service.

This place will be an outstanding wine bar once we get through this pandemic. The oysters were breathtaking and extremely tasty Simon shucked them right in front of our eyes with the speed of a cheetah. Lorelei and Simon are the owners and we got to meet their employee of the month Rik aka Rip.

I highly encourage you to get out and check this amazing place out!

It was my first time here, my husband’s second. Cute bar. Food was good. Drinks were good but the bartender with the beard making them was so rude. He seemed very agitated and was acting like he was high on something. It was a very uncomfortable experience and we won’t be back.

Small, high price, great service

I’m not writing this because I don’t like their business, on the contrary I want any restaurant to succeed. But I wish I’d known some of these downsides before going and I want others to know. On the plus side their bartender was super nice and checked in on us often. Nobody else really did. The staff seemed happy to be there and got along with each other.

On the downside, the seating area is very small, about the size of a large house dining room. We had to choose a tight corner of the bar for two people. We were there on a Saturday night so I bet other days are better. There’s about 5 small tables others than the bar.

Food is interesting but expensive and not enough. A single chicken leg was very good but very expensive. Other small plates don’t offer a lot for their price. The herb butter that was recommended didn’t taste of herb. And I didn’t think there was enough variety for a good small plate sharing experience.

The cocktails are hit or miss but overall small and strong. The espresso martini was good but I got another one that tasted like cough medicine.

Overall for my taste I’d rather want more variety of smaller plates for a little cheaper, or larger single plates. It just didn’t do it for us as a Tapas place. Others may like it and they’re not wrong either.
