We ahd such a great time here. Wonderful atmosphere. Makayla was a delight. We would come back just for her !! But the food was amazing. We had crawfish oysters, a quesadilla.The keynote pie is a must do, and the asparagus was fantastic. We saw a couple having burgers and wings that looked great as well. We were there 2 days ago and heading back with a group today!

Cute little bar/restaurant near the water. I ordered the beef nachos, which were excellent. Generous portions and tasty ingredients. The queso sauce was a little too salty for my liking, but then again I don’t add salt to my food in general.
There is plenty of room in the main bar area and deck. Keep in mind that *there is no air conditioning* in this establishment. It is a very open floor concept which is cool, but hot. They have fans running inside and out to help keep the temps down.
The prices were decent too, very fair pricing.
I recommend this little eclectic place to anyone looking to chill and hang with friends.

First time out to Hudson. Definitely a gem. We ordered peel and eat shrimp with Cajun seasoning. Fish and chips, grouper sandwich. All very good. We were served the shrimp after our food order but that’s fine. . They were fresh and hot. Clam chowder soup had just the right amount of spices. Definitely a chill vibe here and worth a return visit and reasonably priced. Would love to come back for a night visit with music.

Great food, very reasonable prices, great service. The atmosphere is not fancy, almost a dive. But the outdoor seating with a view of the canal is very nice. We loved it and will come back.

We enjoyed oysters on the half shell. Medium size and cold. Service was excellent and the atmosphere outstanding. Sitting there on the wood deck overlooking the canals is great. Water was clear and some sheep head were in the water with other fish to look at while dining. It is a relaxing time.

We had a nice seat outside by the water but I found the place to be a little tacky.. To put it nicely, we enjoyed the food. The grouper was outrageously delicious & the bang bang shrimp delicious. The atmosphere is okay but that’s all. Just okay, not as some of the other restaurants on the river that I’ve seen that are better but I did enjoy myself and the food and service were terrific

I can say the location is an old fish house made into a restaurant. The spot is just gorgeous as it sits right on the water near Hudson Beach. We sat outback near the water. Nice spot to relax and watch the local seagulls. Service was good for the most part. I’m sure what the complaints are have nothing to do with her service. She smiled and was friendly trying to make the best of a bad situation. We ordered the blackened grouper sandwich and the beef burrito. I must say the portion sizes of the food is just huge!!! Food was ok but for having to wait for well over an hour to eat, it lacked alot honestly. Burrito was huge but plain. Plain no juice meat with lots of yellow rice and black beans with again not much flavor. Beer was nice and cold as well as their coke products. Grouper was last to come out and was about 15 minutes after burrito hit the table. Fish tasted good and fries were not bad but it was definitely not grouper!! I’d swear I had to wait so long for it because they just ran down to the local winn dixie and grabbed a bag of pollock to cook. Again, was ok but I know my fish and would like to eat what I pay for. Lunch was expensive and quality of the food compared to price…. well it just doesn’t pay out honestly. Area was not completely clean but outside is hard to keep spotless so I took that into consideration. Hot sauces and condiment bottles were very old and had filthy rings around the tops of each bottle. Needs some attention but I’m sure they can pull it together.

We’ve been coming back for years and eating here multiple times. This time we were nervous based on a few reviews about a lack of quality and a reduction in value.
Last night we ordered the Captain’s Bowl (now named the seafood feast) and it was just as wonderful as every other time.

Great beach place for locals. I’m not from the area so I stood out. Service was terrific all 3 times I was here. Prices are very reasonable. Dozen oysters on the half shell for a fair price. Very fresh and delicious. Try the captain’s bowl (pictured) for 2 people.
The owner came by tonight and was great. He loved the place and took pride in the quality of the people and the food.

Came here on 3/22 at 8:20 our server was so nice and professional. She brought everything to us in a timely manner.The steamed shrimp was out of this world. It was really fresh and tasty.The raw oysters were amazing. The Mexican oysters were fresh but the combination of salsa and sour creamed did not match my taste for cooked oysters. Great place on water. Tables were a bit sticky. Lovely rock music
