Had an absolutely amazing experience at the Olive Garden on McKinley in Buffalo — all thanks to our amazing waitress! She really made the night enjoyable with her great attitude and friendly service.
The food itself was okay. Growing up Italian, I’m used to authentic meatballs, pastas, and chicken parms that are on a completely different level. But hey, why not try Olive Garden once in a while? It’s classic American-Italian comfort food.
It’s a bit disappointing knowing that most of the food comes frozen from Gordon Food Services or something similar, though I was told some of the soups and sauces are made fresh in-house daily.
Overall, an okay dining experience that was saved by great service.

My wife and I visited here for our anniversary on a Sunday afternoon.
We visited at a good time because it was not crowded. To start, we shared a serving of calamari over a bottle of cabernet sauvigon.
My wife had chicken parmigiana with salad, and I had the Tour of Italy with chicken gnocchi soup.
The food was good and enough to which we had extra to take home.
You get what you pay for when it comes to chain restaurants. Some chains are good while others are not so good. This chain of Olive Garden is good in my opinion.

We ordered online, my chicken parm was so over cooked I couldn’t eat it. All our food was very cold. My husband’s shrimp and carbonate was rubber and spaghetti sticky anc his dinner not good. We ordered breads ticks. Cold and the dipping sauce we ordered was spilled all.in the bag. They also gave us someone’s dinner with some other name on it. Extremely unhappy, worst take out order we ever ordered. We have eaten at the restaurant and it was fine. I will be requesting my money back. Very satisfied. I tried calling the restaurant to let them know everyone put me on hold and never came back to the phone. Very u happy and it was very expensive and not worth it! Beware!

Olive Garden is always a great meal, but our server Laurie V. went above and beyond! Our experience with her was by far the best dining experience we’ve ever had eating out, and she deserves a raise, a promotion, and whatever else the company needs to keep a phenomenal hostess like her on the team. From now on, Ill be hoping for her as our hostess whenever we stop by for dinner!

We go to Olive Garden very often and most times it is very good. But on 1/16/26 my 72 yr old husband ordered spaghetti with meat sauce. It seemed alright until 5 hrs later when he became very ill. Throwing up with no other symptoms. He was ok the next day. It had to be food poisoning. While we were in the restaurant the guy behind us complained about his chicken with sauce being terrible. He walked out. Said he was never coming back. I know we won’t be back for a very long time. Our waitress Stephanie was great however. Better check the kitchen practices in regards to avoiding food poisoning.

Food was great but what made it 5 stars was the service given by our server. Didn’t catch a name but young African American male, very friendly, attentive and just overall great service by this young man. When we go back, we will be requesting we’re seated at his table!

Went to dinner here last night and Hunter S was our server. He was amazing the whole time. He was great with my 9 year old and was super friendly and attentive. I would give 10 stars if I was able to.

Who doesn’t love darden restaurants Olive Garden. So happy the stuff came out to sing Happy Birthday they did a great job. I don’t know what it is about that salad and dressing but I am thankful it’s bottomless.
