The food was good, although the price I paid is not what was listed in the menu for the servings, or the add-ons.
We were sat in the bar area with a waiter named Frankie. He came to the table to take my order, drop of my food and then didn’t see him again until after we were finished. My soda ran out rather quickly. I was given diet and not regular coke. Frankie visited both other tables with older people, but skipped right over us. My empty glass sat at the end of the table for well over 20 mins.
Frankie made 6 cappuccinos and had plenty of time to socialize while I waited for a refil. At one point I pushed call server on the ziosk, and proceeded to wait another 10 mins, while watching him laugh and joke with other employees and make drinks for folks no where near our section.
We were finally given refills and as my daughter tried to put all of the ice in one glass, so she could drain what little soda was in the glass. That’s when Frankie showed up and took both glasses before she could say anything.
My daughter picked the restaurant, and while the food is good, we won’t be going back to this one. We’ll try the one in Deptford instead.
My wife ordered the Chicken Tortelloni Alfredo, which is asiago cheese-filled tortelloni baked in alfredo with a blend of Italian cheeses and toasted breadcrumbs, topped with sliced grilled chicken. She loved everything about this dish and the portion size was enough to feed two people. We love when restaurants give you so much food that you can enjoy it the next day! She decided to get Chicken & Gnocchi Soup as her included side and absolutely loved it. It was thick, creamy, flavorful, and delicious.
From the moment we walked into this location, the hostess, manager and waiter made us feel like we were VIP’s. They made sure we were comfortable, that we had refills on drinks, and that our food was cooked to perfection.
Thanks to the Voorhees Olive Garden for such a great experience!
For an appetizer, I had the calamari, which was delicious. My favorite dish of the day was chicken and gnocchi soup – it didn’t quite match my expectations but it still tasted decent.
The strawberry Bellini was cute. This drink came with the unfinished prosecco on this side which I recommend adding to your drink BEFORE you finish the initial glass.
I had the Seafood Alfredo with Scallops and Shrimp for my dinner. I found that it would have been better if it was called Scallop and Shrimp Alfredo because there are really only two seafood options. It was a good-sized dish, so I took some home to enjoy later.
The service was great. Our server was very knowledgeable about the dishes and happy to be there. I’ve been to Olive Garden on many occasions and this is the first time that our waitress has been so genuinely enthusiastic about what they serve.
Overall, this restaurant is a quality option for those who want to experience classic Italian food without breaking the bank. However, it would be better suited as a secondary go-to if you’re looking for something with higher quality ingredients and more robust execution.
Anyway, tons of leftovers to eat the next day!
My wife and I had salad and a Chicken Gnocchi soup as appetizers. My wife loved the soup and she could just eat that and repeat over and over again. 🙂 She loved!
The Chicken and Shrimp Carbonara I would give a lot 3 out of 5 stars, I think it was missing some flavor on it.
The Giant Cheese Stuffed Shells were great. Good amount of salt and sauce. Make sure to save some breadsticks to dip on their sauce. It’s delicious!!!
