I hadn’t been here in a few months but the food was not good. The macaroni and cheese was mushy it had too much cheese soft noodles and no taste it was bland. The cabbage was sautéed but had no taste it was missing the onion and bell pepper flavor the bourbon chicken taste charred the greens were ok they were made with Turkey legs but that wasn’t enough it needed more seasoning the yams are out the can nothing added to them I wanted a soul food meal on a Sunday this definitely was not it! The waitress was nice and polite very attentive and the price was normal but overall not worth the price.

UPDATE 2/28/2026! Today I went back to Old Tyme sine I had such a great experience on Valentine’s Day unfortunately my experience was a complete opposite. We went to celebrate my brother’s retirement for brunch. The person/attendant for the tables we occupied wasn’t having a great day and her facial features as well as the very few words she spoke was truly offensive I took it personal along with others that were in my family. I made sure I spoke with the cashier while exiting. One of the most valuable employee is the attendant in a restaurant of any kind and unfortunately this time Old Tyme didn’t pass due to one nasty attitude. Yes we all have bad days but we can’t take it to work with us. February 28th 2026 On Valentine Day 7 of us went to Brunch. No one complained about the food. I had a salad with the crab salad and coffee. The coffee was excellent I like my coffee strong and the coffee was excellent. Out of every place I’ve been in the past 32 years that I’ve been drinking coffee 1 out 10, I give them a 10. Our waitress was always there to refill what ever you needed and you didn’t have to track her down. The place was fabulous.

Food isn’t that good. More pork than anything. No steaks. The food lacks flavor. I only enjoyed the Chinese food. I miss Golden Corral that used to be right there. The restaurant looks exactly the same. I would say go try it and give your own review. Majority of my food went in the trash, sadly. Drink tasted more like carbonated water and fries tasted like they were cooked in old cooking oil. I literally spit out the carrot cake. The dinner rolls were hard and dense. Everything needed help. Great customer service.

Ms.Quiana made sure our table stayed clean and our glasses stayed full. I have a larger family and she showed tremendous patience with us while also taking care of everyone else around us. The food was fresh and delicious. We will be returning real soon.

Sooooooo I was not expecting this to be such a deeeeelishous place, with great prices . My server was very attentive and even with multiple tables my drink never went empty( ms. Shirley). My overall experience was horrible! The food wasn’t good and as I went to the register to speak with the manager I noticed a roach on the wall by the buffet. Initially I wanted a refund due to the lack of flavor majority of the food had and seeing the roach was the icing on the cake. The manager advised me he wasn’t able to honor the refund which is fine but once I told him about the roach and showed him he began to get very nasty towards me. Customer service is everything and this establishment has none!!! 0-10 recommended! I will never be returning

Just got a take out order for Thanksgiving and the dressing, mac and cheese, and black eyed pease are HORRIBLE!!! First off stop calling Stuffing dressing because they are Not the same whoever the cook is just made a big pan of stuffing and it was nasty. True dressing or cornbread dressing has a different taste. The mac and cheese had no seasoning and it was like they used the powered cheese and that’s it. The black eyed peas was definitely from the can but at least season them. The only thing that was good was the Turkey and the collard greens. For what I paid for this meal I will be giving this to some homeless people vs the trash. I’m pissed and disgusted and for this place to have a 4.3 that must be for the other buffet items cause this meal wasn’t it!!!!!!
Update: The manager did address and accommodated my concerns. He offered me another choice of food. I chose some seafood and desert that tasted very good!!! He was very courteous and respectful. He provided me with EXCELLENT customer service and I will return again!!! Great overall atmosphere and staff.

Great food and even better service!! Arrived Sunday morning with a group of 50+ motorcyclists! Jackie and Jaleesa took care of our group perfectly!! Never an empty cup and constantly checking on us! Will definitely be back!
