The food has always been so delicious for me. Recently, just came back for general t’so chicken and lo mein. They are so good as usual. The people are so friendly and the prices are reasonable.

Absolutely inedible. We got take out, after getting home and opening the containers, we immediately noticed the food had a very strange and strong odor. We ignored it and plated up our food cause we are hungry. Unfortunately it tasted just as bad as it smelled. Couldn’t even eat a bite of it. Slimey and gross. The shrimp egg roll was an overcooked inedible spring roll. I called to ask for a refund (I was polite, calm, and didn’t raise my voice), and was told I’d have to bring all of the food back to the restaurant (which is over a half hour away) and they’d swap out our meals. I explained that I was not driving an hour round trip to do that, that I was not comfortable with eating any of their food, and again asked for a refund. They hung up on me. I called back to let them know I was not being rude but we had just spent a fair amount on food we couldn’t even eat and if they were insistent on me bringing it back to prove it wasn’t eaten, I could drop the food off tomorrow. They yelled at each other and at me saying my only option was to swap out the food for more food. I once again explained that I would not be eating anything they made because I don’t trust their food and am afraid that it would make me sick, especially after being yelled at and hung up on. They hung up on me again, so here I am writing this review…money wasted food in the trash.

The food here isn’t good anymore, I swear it used to be at one point but the last few years the quality has been bad. I got orange chicken today and it was so overcooked and unedible. I took two bites and it made me feel sick so I threw it out. We ordered one orange chicken with a side of rice and one Hunan chicken and shrimp and dragon phoenix soup and the total was almost $80! That’s insane!! My husband showed the people working what he got and the prices on the menu and they explained that the prices on the menu were not updated to what their current prices are which seems very sketchy to me. The soup ended up getting tossed in the trash, it didn’t taste right and made my husband feel sick. We will not be coming here anymore and won’t recommend this place to friends and family. I wouldn’t have paid that much for all we got that’s ridiculous and unreasonable.

This place over charged me and then tried to throw a bunch of fee stuff in my bag and then charged me for it. Food quality is awful. Everything tasted old. Shrimp egg rolls were 1 small shrimp and all wrapper. Sesame chicken had so much sauce it made it super soggy. Lo mein was very soft, could tell it wasn’t fresh. Definitely wont be back.

If I could give this place zero stars I would, but that wasn’t an option. I have been coming here for years but the last few times I have ordered from here it was just absolutely terrible. We ordered egg rolls for my bfs father and when we got home to give him his food I was embarrassed I had him pay for it. They were so tiny, I’ve never even seen an egg roll that small before not even in the frozen section for the mini egg rolls; it was ridiculous. While there, I added a small general tsos which when I got home I realized I paid for a large. The large dishes we ordered were put into small to go containers instead of large. The food tasted like it had been sitting out for days and my kids wouldn’t even touch it. Overall, terrible food. Only good thing was the fast service but I see now why it’s so fast!! Don’t waste your money!! $65 spent on food that wasn’t correct, fresh, or good!!! Worst experience ever!!

Edit.. the fried stuff was alright an in clean oil. The free doughnuts were the best part n not bc they are free. They had some tasty zest in them.
I was always werry of this place. But ive heard other ppl like it and i like the ford city one. I was super happy they delivered in town since i dont have a car. My order is always the same. N she was super nice it arrived fast. Unfortunately the food wasnt good. Especially for how much it costs nowadays. The lomien n fried rice tasted bad n the rice didnt have any veggies, the egg roll had no filling.

We ordered vegetable fried rice, and once we were home, we realized we spent $40 and were given PLAIN rice. Once we called, they explained that we had to bring the food back and refused to give a refund. Very unprofessional and will not be returning.

I got sweet and sour chicken and thebportion was so small. They raised their prices and made the portions smaller. The funny thing is the bowl of sweet and sour sauce was larger than the chicken. The chicken was $13.00, the crab Rangoon were $7.00 (for 5 of them) a2 egg rolls were $4.00, it came to 26 and so.e change. I’m sorry but I’m done with the House of Hunan in kittanning, be careful not to expect a lot.
